PAUL HAGGIS SHAMES JOURNALISTS FOR NOT ASKING TOM CRUISE ABOUT SCIENTOLOGY

We LOVE filmmaker Paul Haggis – not only does he criticize Scientology, but he criticizes journalists for not asking Tom Cruise about Scientology! Former Scientologist Haggis spoke openly about despicable acts of the “church” in the recent documentary ”Going Clear.” This summer when Tom Cruise was promoting “Mission Impossible- Rogue Nation” his reps requested that reporters NOT mention Scientology. And they were too cowardly to do so! Haggis calls it “the elephant in the room.” How could journalists NOT ask Tom to comment about allegations against the church? Meanwhile, a Scientology spokesperson dismissed Paul Haggis as no longer “relevant.” Charming.

Just kidding. But she looks like she might be. We assume it’s due to “The Kanye Effect” that Kim Kardashian chooses to wear skin-tight low cut BLACK clothing on a steaming hot August afternoon. (Not to mention stiletto heels) Kanye dictates what Kim should wear (black, black, and more black) and she listens. Most pregnant women would prefer to wear something light and summery in cotton- appropriate for the weather. But those women are not married to Kanye West, the self-described artist.

You’d think that a girl raised in China would be somewhat reserved and conservative when it comes to fashion. But actress Bai Ling, 48, has no such reservations – and it hasn’t done her career much good. Paula Abdul arrived at the very trendy Chateau Marmont looking like she doesn’t know what year it is. Her outfit isn’t vulgar or loud, just unflattering. The bowtied blouse is rather mature and conservative and mismatched with her puffy stiff miniskirt. It would have looked much better with a longer slim skirt. The whole get-up makes tiny Paula look short and stout and doesn’t do a thing for her. Her shoes can be described as uninteresting at best. We know you can do better, Paula!

What the world definitely DOESN’T need is another cop show. But when we saw this photo of Jennifer Lopez and Drea de Matteo filming their new series “Shades of Blue,” it brought back fond memories of the 80’s cop show “Cagney & Lacey.” (Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly starred) Somehow two FEMALE cops make the whole idea more interesting. Hopefully, the show will have female writers to make the characters plausible, and less like the plethora of male cop shows.

Art Banksy Dismaland

DISMALAND: A “BEMUSEMENT PARK” FOR ADULTS

Banksy has outdone even his own amazing self with this apocalyptic theme park called “Dismaland” in the UK. He took an abandoned amusement park and started a rumor that a movie was being made there while he spent weeks converting the place under total secrecy. The pop-up art exhibition features a demented assortment of artwork by artists from around the world. Besides art, the place features a dingy castle, terrifying rides, games, and plenty of anti-corporate messages. Dismaland will only be open for five weeks ending September 27, so hurry up! Leave the kids at home.
