OF COURSE NICK CANNON WANTS SOMEONE ELSE TO PAY FOR HIS BIRTHDAY PARTY

Yesterday Page 6 wrote a big story about how Nick Cannon is looking for corporate sponsors to pay for his 30th birthday bash and fill gift bags. The party will be hosted by his wife Mariah Carey, and lots of high profile guest are “confirmed” such as Jay-Z and Beyonce, Ashton and Demi, Kobe Bryant etc, to whet the sponsors appetites. Of course, Nick and Mariah don’t need the money but they’re only doing what just about ALL the celebrities do – let someone else pay for their parties. Jay-Z and Beyonce don’t need the money either, but they never pay for their own parties. Nick has ALWAYS gotten sponsors for his birthday parties – the difference is HE talks about it and other celebrities have their PR people handle it quietly.

Dozens of gold and platinum discs are up for sale as well as tour jackets and VIP backstage passes that Sheila used to get into his concerts, plus magazines and other odds and ends. Music industry experts predict there will be worldwide demand for these rare items because they belonged to Elton’s mother.

HOWARD STERN HAS BEDBUGS IN HIS LIMO

New Yorkers are recoiling in horror from an infestation of bedbugs and even squeamish Howard Stern has been fighting them. The building where Howard does his Sirius radio show was treated for bedbugs over the weekend and Howard sounded doubtful on the air that the problem was over. Stern was doubly horrified when trained dogs sniffed out bedbugs in his limo and THAT had to be fumigated also. Certainly, Howard must be worried about his posh apartment in the city because the bugs travel so quickly. New York is currently the epicenter of the bedbug infestation and the pests cross all boundaries – from hotels to homes to clothing stores and theaters. They are NOT easy to destroy.

Odds are not in Halle’s favor for a long term relationship, so hopefully she’s keeping that in mind.

At the evening ceremony, Bollywood stars tried to coax John into dancing a few steps to music from his 1977 movie Saturday Night Fever, but he politely declined.

She plopped down on a chair, rummaged around in her bag, and yelled “Where’s my WALLET? I can’t find MY WALLET!” This happens ALL THE TIME! It’s a CONSPIRACY!” Terrified customers ducked out the door as Janice’s long suffering assistant came running in the store. “Your wallet’s in the car!” she said, rolling her eyes.
