Unfortunately, his gender reassignment did not solve Chaz Bono’s problems. Chaz, 42, is now three years into the process of becoming a male, but his biggest dilemma is still his weight. For years, Chaz’s mother Cher has been alarmed by her child’s unhealthy size and she keeps trying to teach him how to eat right. Chaz’s slender girlfriend Jennifer Elia also attempts to set an example for Chaz. But Chaz has a real problem with food. That problem became even more apparent when a photographer followed Chaz running errands in West Hollywood one afternoon. Before heading home, Chaz picked up a burger with all the trimmings and surreptitiously wolfed it down IN THE CAR before going into the house he shares with Jennifer.

Someone needs to tell Chaz the horrible effects of Diabetis & so many excessive weight related issues, maybe then it’ll sink it.

How come we never hear anything about his brother Elijah Blue Allman who looks just like his dad Greg. He was singing and then he was doing some art stuff and now I don’t have a clue…..????
Excellent point YoYo. I have a huge appetite for vittles (grub…food..lol). I have to walk in the mornings and several times a week during the evenings too. If the food is heavy (like this evening is spaghetti & meatballs!!!) then I have to walk in the evening too for a couple of miles to help burn it off and keep the metabolism up.

Eating food secretly is real telling. He has however been dealing with so many issues, the food issue may be last on his plate, so to speak. As yoyo said, he should consider the risk of diabetes and other health related issues.

LOL! However my friend, you have the common sense to burn off the calories. Some people don’t get it until they are hooked up to life support, dialysis, popping more pills than Elvis or just handed a death certificate. Good eating habits start when you are young as with good manners & respect.

I know people don’t like to hear it, but I honestly believe that people who think they were born in the wrong body and have surgery think all their problems are over and it just isn’t true. Anyone who has a sex change has a screw loose to begin with so what ever else ailes this person is second to that. Gender change should be against the law and not allowed to happen legally.
He was a chubby young lady. He still maintains the weight problem as a middle aged man (although still a young man).
He might be better off getting many miles away from Hollywood and spending some time by himself (with his girlfriend) and working on his fitness. As we all know, the pressure to be stick thin in Hollywood is overwhelming.
If you really want to freak someone out about their weight, take them back stage at an award show. You think the stars are thin in the magazines or on tv. When you see them in person, you’ll wonder how on earth they are able to cast a friggin shadow!!! That goes for the men too!!
I’ve been to country music shows and American music award show and you don’t need an x-ray machine to see their bones!!! (I’m no one special. I just went to help out a friend that works with an agency.)

Brisk walking a minimum of 30 minutes about an hour before eating a sensible breakfast is the only way to lose weight. Do it rain or shine, and if it rains, walk in your humble abode. While walking, carry 2 or 4 pound dumbbells, working up a sweat after drinking a large glass of medium-cold water. Walking after eating your A.M. meal is not as effective. Then you can graze at a buffet around 2 PM, and a nightly snack if needed would be almonds or low-fat pretzels. (The doctor is in – lol). I am doing this and my weight is 123 1/2 and never goes over 124 1/5.

It is common knowledge that a lot of overweight people will eat a salad and diet drink in front of others, but when they get by themselves as JC indicated, they will WOLF down the kitchen sink
and throw away or hide the evidence. When you hide and eat “forbidden foods” it is time to get in touch with Overeaters Anonymous. It’s one thing for Chaz to want to be a man, but there is Nothing wrong with him improving his health to benefit his New image. I think that Chaz should have a stone soul picnic and then take charge of his health, and be a Man about it!!

Gee Buddy, sorry about that. It wasn’t my intention to be angry and I wasn’t aware that it reflected anger. However, it was mean to emphasize “hunger”.
For instance, I missed breakfast before church on Sunday. An important and well loved memeber of our church had died the day before. I ended up not getting to eat a single bit of anything until around 4:00 p.m Sunday evening. I dropped off a neighbor and headed home. I pulled into Janie’s and bought a double slice of cheese pizza and some steak fries and a water. If someone had seen me eating those on the way home, they would have swore that I had been starved to death for a week. I inhaled the pizza and fries. Chewing them was just a small formality. LOL!!!!
Chaz should just start walking! I’m a size 12, 56 years old, and do yoga 2-3 times a week plus walk about a mile a day. I am never going to be super skinny, but I am also never going to allow myself to become as huge as Chaz either. A personal trainer PLUS therapy (the wolfing the burger down in the car tells me he doesn’t necessarily even enjoy eating) plus a group like Overeaters Anonymous can get him on track — but ONLY if it’s something HE truly wants. People are gonna do what people are gonna do, and that’s that. Sad.

Jennifer Elia was Chastity’s lesbian girlfriend prior to Chastity’s transformation and change to the male “Chaz”.
Jennifer Elia doesn’t date men. She likes the ladies. I can only suspect that this is the reason that the male Chaz hasn’t had the completed (south of the border) “Winkie Surgery.”
