ZAC EFRON TURNS A WEST HOLLYWOOD GAY BAR UPSIDE DOWN

You can imagine the level of excitement when dreamboat Zac Efron turned up recently at Hamburger Mary’s gay bar in West Hollywood. Everybody seemed to know he isn’t gay but all eyes were on Zac as he tried to be low key in jeans and a t- shirt. He was friendly to everyone, but ignored the fuss. Zac was simply having a good time and a drink hanging out with friends – some of whom were probably gay.

ZAC EFRON HAS A SECRET FLAW HE’S TRYING TO FIX

Even Zac Efron is a little neurotic about his looks, although it’s hard to imagine WHAT he could complain about. But it seems he’s very unhappy with his legs. Zac’s upper body is well defined and muscular, but he feels he has skinny “chicken legs.” Zac is determined to improve his leg muscles so he hired hard-core trainer Harley Pasternak to help him build up his legs so they match the rest of him

Holy cow! It’s not easy to look gorgeous when you’re standing next to decades younger pretty boy Zac Efron, but Michelle >Pfeiffer, 53, is more than holding her own! She looks adorable! They were at the New Year’s Eve premier. By the way, that’s Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas sexing it up in the top photo…

ZAC EFRON IS A GOOD TIPPER IN NEW ORLEANS

Zac Efron is in New Orleans filming The Paperboy with Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey, and he’s enjoying the city. One of his preferred restaurants is Arnaud’s because he loves the jazz band there. Arnaud’s is also a favorite of Nicoas Cage, who enjoys looking out the window and watching all the action on Bourbon Street. We’re told that Zac orders healthy food – usually fish – and one night he changed his clothes three times while eating dinner there.(?) He always refuses to get up and sing with the band but will take a photo with EVERY fan that asks. Oh, and he’s described as a good tipper “over 20 per cent.”

ZAC EFRON AND MICHELLE PFEIFFER: TOGETHER AGAIN

Zac Efron, 23, and his “Hairspray” costar Michelle Pfeiffer, 52, are reunited in their currently filming movie “New Year’s Eve.” It’s about a group of single people and couples in New York whose lives intersect on New Years Eve. (The same idea as last year’s “Valentines Day” except it doesn’t take place in LA and has mostly a different ensemble cast.) Zac plays a delivery guy with a Vespa who takes Michelle for a ride.

WHAT ZAC EFRON LEARNED FROM VANESSA HUDGENS

When they were together, (now they seem to be friends with benefits) Vanessa Hudgens used to tease Zac about being obsessed with his looks – from his skin to his weight. Thanks to Vanessa, he learned how to cover up blemishes – with her concealer, and he learned how to control his weight. Zac observed when Vanessa signed up for the ZEN gourmet diet home delivery service. For $35 a day, three fresh meals are delivered with the appropriate calorie count. Zac had to gain about 18 pounds of muscle for “The Lucky Ones” in which he plays an Iraq war vet (above.) The movie wrapped before Christmas and now he wants to get rid of the weight so he’s eating 1800 calories a day, thanks to ZEN….and Vanessa.

ZAC EFRON AND VANESSA HUDGENS BROKE UP RIGHT BEFORE THE HOLIDAYS

There have been plenty of false alarms for these two, but America’s Sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens insist they have finally broken up for good. And what timing! Vanessa’s birthday is December 14 and it’s right before Christmas and the dreaded New Year’s Eve! They’ve been together for four years since they did High School Musical for Disney, and that’s a LOOONG time in teen years – both have done a lot of growing up since then. Still, it’s the end of an era.

RONALD REAGAN IS RETURNING TO THE BIG SCREEN

Hollywood names are being tossed around with varied opinions about who should star in the feature film of iconic President Ronald Reagan’s life. It’s simply called “Reagan” and the movie begins with the 1981 assassination attempt and flashes back and forward in his life. The producer Mark Joseph promises it will be nothing like the unflattering 2003 miniseries starring James Brolin. The Hollywood Reporter speculates that Zac Efron, Chris Pine, or James Franco might do Reagan justice, but we think an unknown actor with no baggage would be far more satisfying.
