Deals, deals, deals. Much ado was made over the rumor that Meghan Markle was going to be the spokesmodel for Dior, but the rumor turned out NOT to be true since both the fashion giant and Meghan denied it. While that tidbit didn’t pan out, my source revealed that Meghan might wind up with a lucrative fashion deal after all – on QVC! Sounds improbable, but the shopping network has had some big names hawk their merchandise – including Katy Perry. A line designed by Meghan could easily become a huge moneymaker. The source explained that Meghan and Harry are open to almost any possibility that could pad their bank account- and affordable, eco-friendly items would work with their brand. It could happen!

Car Chase Meghan Markle New York Paparazzi Prince Harry

SORRY, MEGHAN AND HARRY – THAT CAR CHASE STORY IS ABSURD

We actually LIKE Harry and Meghan (we know some readers don’t share our opinion) but they’ve lost some points with their latest statement. Last night the couple were in New York where Meghan accepted an award, but no sooner did she walk off the podium than the couple’s spokesperson released a statement about them being pursued for 2 hours in a “near catastrophic“ car chase – an obvious attempt to gain sympathy and draw comparisons to Princess Diana’s deadly crash. (Harry still mistakenly blames his mother’s death on paparazzi – NOT the actual killer- her drunk limo driver!) Their version of this high speed car chase makes zero sense -there’s NO WAY they’d be stuck in a car for two hours zooming around Manhattan at high speeds with the city’s bumper to bumper traffic! Plus, there were NO accidents or tickets issued during this “near catastrophe.” These two likely concocted this dramatic version of events hoping for good press, since Prince William and Kate seem to be dominating the headlines with positive stories recently. Plus, Harry and Meg live openly in Montecito, California and have never ONCE complained about high speed car chases or being pursued by the paparazzi. Sorry, Meg and Harry, you dropped the ball on this one.

PRINCE HARRY OWES OPRAH A BIG FAVOR!

It’s Oprah Winfrey to the rescue! Prince Harry is headed to London for his father, King Charles’ coronation, but the spare royal isn’t planning to stick around. An insider reveals that Harry was having trouble finding commercial flights that worked with his desired schedule, so his good pal and Montecito, California neighbor Oprah offered him her private jet! Now Harry plans to leave just in time to make the coronation and he’ll return hours after his dad is officially crowned King to celebrate his son’s birthday. The insider says it Harry’s entire round trip including travel time will be less than 72 hours!

HARRY AND MEGHAN’S MOTTO: BE PREPARED

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle haven’t publicly RSVP’D to the upcoming May coronation of King Charles, but that’s not stopping her from PREPARING just in case they attend. While the “will they or won’t they?” remains to be answered, Meghan has already ordered custom outfits for the royal festivities. A fashion insider revealed that Meg has quietly had fittings at home in Montecito with representatives from her favorite designers, including Givenchy, Ralph Lauren and Carolina Herrera. She ordered day suits, gowns and various dresses with swatches of the fabrics already sent to her favorite hatmaker in London.

(Isn’t it about time the Royals dropped that stiff 1950’s rule that women MUST wear hats to all events?)

Disgraced Royal, Prince Andrew, is contemplating taking a page right out of his nephew, Prince Harry’s playbook and giving up his Royal responsibilities for money! Andrew has been on the outs with his family ever since his friendship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein became public. Since he no longer has his mother, Queen Elizabeth to look after him, he’s basically been downgraded by his brother, King Charles. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are financially comfortable now, thanks to his autobiography and their Netflix development deal. They are thinking about moving a few miles south, from Montecito to Malibu! Harry and Meg love the laid back yet sophisticated lifestyle of Montecito, but they’ve quickly grown bored of the wealthy but limited neighborhood. “There are only so many restaurants in town, and the shopping doesn’t compare to Los Angeles,” a Montecito resident told me. Since the couple love the beach and Meg wants to be closer to Hollywood, they’re laser focused on The Colony, a gated beachfront community in Malibu less than an hour from their current home. The Colony is as close to having a private beach as anywhere in California, plus it’s loaded with celebrities – which means enhanced SECURITY. It checks all of their boxes, so Harry and Meg have discreetly started their real estate search.

HARRY AND MEGHAN’S “EVICTION” COULD BE COSTLY

Now that they’re being evicted from Frogmore Cottage (their official residence in the UK) Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have something to say to his dad, King Charles… SHOW US THE MONEY! The estate was a wedding gift from Queen Elizabeth and Harry and Meg spent over $3 million of their own money on renovations, but the paint was barely dry before they hightailed it out of there – eventually settling down in Montecito, California. Charles recently told them to move out so his brother Andrew could move in, and now Harry and Meg want to be reimbursed for the extensive renovations. No sooner did they get the “eviction notice” than Harry reached out to the Royal powers-that-be requesting the money. An insider says this could get ugly and might even wind up in a lawsuit.

CHRIS ROCK’S HUMOR WILL NOT BE CENSORED

That was fast! No sooner did Chris Rock’s live Netflix special air than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reached out to the powers that be at the streaming giant to voice their displeasure. In one bit, Chris poked fun at Meghan’s claim of racism in the Royal family, which obviously didn’t sit well with the couple. Harry and Meghan DO have a lucrative Netflix deal which has already earned them millions, but despite that, they were politely told that the network does NOT believe in censorship. Chris’ jokes were funny and they were HIS – not the network’s. It’s unlikely that Harry and Meg will walk away from their deal over this, but to say they’re upset would be an understatement…

The old adage a woman’s work is never done will likely apply to soon-to-be Queen Camilla’s next project. A royal insider says that Camilla has been tapped to play peacemaker between her husband King Charles and her stepson Prince Harry! The firm (the business entity behind the Royal Family) is eager to make peace between the feuding royals before Charles’ coronation on May 6, so they’ve turned to Camilla. As unlikely as it sounds (since there’s no love lost between Harry and his stepmom) my source explained why it makes sense. “Although she’ll soon be Queen, in many ways Camilla is still an outsider who can sympathize with some of the things Harry’s wife Meghan Markle experienced. THAT’S why she was chosen to reach out to Harry.”

Here’s a story you won’t read in Prince Harry’s just released bestseller autobiography, Spare – he’s beefed up security ever since he revealed in the book that he killed 25 Taliban insurgents while serving two stints in Afghanistan for the British military! Harry explained the killings in detail and he now fears that he overshared, and has become a target for revenge. The Taliban and Islamic fundamentalists might not take this info lightly. An insider says Harry has quietly beefed up his already impressive security presence around his Montecito estate, as well as his personal bodyguards when traveling. Although not confirmed, one resident of the area reveals that Harry may have received some threats and was informed by either US or British intelligence, which would explain the sudden added guards.
