Kourtney and Travis are quietly look at property in the same tony area of Montecito, California, where Meg and Harry (among other A-listers) call home. With a baby to focus on, Kourtney wants to remove herself from the seemingly never ending drama with her family. Since they all live within a few miles of each other now, Kourtney wants to relocate, and both she and Travis love Montecito. They’ve secretly toured a few homes already and according to my source, they’re hoping to move right after the holidays. We wonder if Travis and Kourtney will tone down their rockstar looks….

MEGHAN AND HARRY: MONTECITO TO MALIBU?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are financially comfortable now, thanks to his autobiography and their Netflix development deal. They are thinking about moving a few miles south, from Montecito to Malibu! Harry and Meg love the laid back yet sophisticated lifestyle of Montecito, but they’ve quickly grown bored of the wealthy but limited neighborhood. “There are only so many restaurants in town, and the shopping doesn’t compare to Los Angeles,” a Montecito resident told me. Since the couple love the beach and Meg wants to be closer to Hollywood, they’re laser focused on The Colony, a gated beachfront community in Malibu less than an hour from their current home. The Colony is as close to having a private beach as anywhere in California, plus it’s loaded with celebrities – which means enhanced SECURITY. It checks all of their boxes, so Harry and Meg have discreetly started their real estate search.

MEG RYAN: TO FLIP OR NOT TO FLIP?

Meg Ryan wanted her last split with John Mellencamp in November to be absolutely final, so in February she left New York and bought a house in Montecito, California, not far from Prince Harry and Meghan. Like Cameron Diaz, Meg has pretty much dropped out of Hollywood and she’s concentrating on flipping properties like Diane Keaton. She paid over five million for her new 4000 sq ft “farmhouse” because she “fell in love with the view.” She decided it’s also a nice place to isolate during the pandemic. Whether she will re-do the place and sell it, or hang around awhile, remains to be seen…

Meghan Markle Montecito Prince Harry Real Estate

PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN HAVE THE LAST LAUGH

The formerly royal couple Harry and Meghan have finally purchased a piece of California and it’s a winner. Their new 18,000 sq ft estate in Montecito has five and a half glorious acres and SIXTEEN bathrooms! The property was once priced at 26 million, but Harry and Meghan scooped it up for $14,650,000. All the usual frills are included – home theater, tennis court, formal gardens, guest quarters, fully equipped gym, five car garage, and the basement has a playroom with a vintage Wurlitzer jukebox and pinball machines. Little Archie will be thrilled with the large fantasy playground for kids (bottom left in photo.) Top all this off with the delicious California weather, and it appears the runaway royals made the right move.
