January Jones proved she’s capable of a lot more steam that her prim Mad Men character Betty Draper. The 32 year old actress was introduced to Donatella Versace at an event and Donatella was so impressed with her “feminine, classic beauty” that she personally picked her to be the new face of Versace. January kept her retro blonde flip for the nude photos promoting handbags and shoes.

We love Mad Man’s Christina Hendricks, but she looks a thousand times better in her classic vintage fashions than in this modern sportswear. She’s dressed for her currently filming movie “Drive” in skinny jeans, a hoody, and flip flops. We like to see her in cocktail dresses.
Just like the rest of you, we were disappointed to learn that “Mad Men’s” Elizabeth Moss (she plays Peggy) is a Scientologist. Not as disappointed, of course, as her soon-to-be exhusband “Saturday Night Live” comic Fred Armisen. Friends speculate that it was Scientology that broke up the pair in their first year of marriage – Fred just didn’t cooperate with the so-called church. Since the split, Fred has happily moved on and started dating SNL costar Abby Elliott, and presumably Elizabeth is searching the Scientology Celebrity Center for a suitable mate.
In the past, nobody paid much attention to the Creative Emmys because they’re not televised and considered secondary to the real Emmys. Attendees didn’t fret so much about what to wear. But when Christina Hendricks from Mad Men showed up this year looking ravishing, she raised the bar and stole the show. Her fabulous black silk layered gown was designed especially for her by Project Runway winner Christian Siriano, who IS a winner, indeed. Christina is one of his best customers – she wore his peach ruffled frock to the 2010 Golden Globes. One last note: it is refreshing to see a pretty woman without any visible tattoos.

Well groomed Jon Hamm is busy filming “Mad Men” all around Los Angeles and he ended up driving a red convertible Imperial being filmed while he had a conversation. It’s interesting to see how the scene is shot without a camera operator in sight – the camera is intricately mounted on the driver’s side of the car.

Did January Jones wake up this morning with a headache, lamenting ‘What was I THINKING?” Her hookup with “Entourage” star Jeremy Piven at a Globes after-party at the Chateau Marmont was a surprise to all. “Mad Men” star Miss Jones, a huge fan of “Jersey Shore,” is currently between boyfriends and Jeremy is not hard to get, we hear. January looked great at the award show, but we can live without that headband. By the way, It just started raining when this photo was taken, and isn’t it amusing that Jeremy pulled off his jacket – NOT to offer it to January, but to hold over his own hair!
