We had to laugh when we saw how Kanye West and Kim Kardashian looked when they arrived at the Video Awards show. Kanye, who calls the fashion shots for both of them, dressed himself in a greige oversize sweater, sweatpants, and casual sneakers. No chance of Kim being that comfortable. He trussed up pregnant Kim in a cargo inspired evening gown with a plunging neckline and stiletto heels. Both maintained expressionless faces in front of the cameras.

Just kidding. But she looks like she might be. We assume it’s due to “The Kanye Effect” that Kim Kardashian chooses to wear skin-tight low cut BLACK clothing on a steaming hot August afternoon. (Not to mention stiletto heels) Kanye dictates what Kim should wear (black, black, and more black) and she listens. Most pregnant women would prefer to wear something light and summery in cotton- appropriate for the weather. But those women are not married to Kanye West, the self-described artist.

North West is not even two years old and she’s already taking tap and ballet classes. Kim picked up her daughter after class and we’re betting Nori was the only student dressed all in BLACK! It’s her father Kanye’s favorite color. Imagine that – a black tutu! Nori also has a black leather motorcycle jacket like her mom’s, that Kim is carrying. We wonder if she’ll rebel when she gets a bit older and insist on PINK like the other little girls wear.

Kanye West brought his deadpan wife Kim to Fashion Week in Paris and to make sure she got plenty of attention, he had her bleach her hair platinum blonde (coincidentally like his ex Amber Rose.) She’s been photographed dozens of times there and it’s also apparent that she had something done to her upper lip – probably injections. Of course Kanye dressed her up in those revealing flesh colored mesh clothes he designed with little regard for propriety.

It hasn’t been easy, but Kanye West is teaching his little girl Nori NOT to smile. North West is generally a happy baby, full of laughter, so it’s a challenge. Of course, the LAST thing Kanye wants is a daughter who is NOT Cool. So the smiling, especially in the presence of paparazzi, has to stop. They are on their way to a children’s play center in London so Nori will presumably be allowed to smile once they are inside and having fun.

Kanye West walked out of his Soho apartment dressed exactly like a burglar, all in black, with a hoodie, EXCEPT for his expensive designer sneakers. He’s on his way to a presentation event for his Yeezy sneaker collection for Adidas. Kanye’s sneakers sell for around $350, but they are limited editions (9000 pairs produced) so the value goes way UP. Expect to see them on eBay for $10,000! That white pair looks like it will add a few inches of height!

You can’t imagine our dismay when we heard that Vogue contributor Andre Leon Talley declared that Kim and Kanye are the “first family of fashion!” He raved about their fame in a magazine interview and compared their notoriety to Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Andre watched the press make a big fuss over them at Paris Fashion Week and he ADMIRES their style! He is convinced that the Wests, along with baby North are the most influential celebrities when it comes to fashion. Horrors! Two things to keep in mind: Andre is inclined to wear CAPES, and Anna Wintour has yet to comment.

Kanye West does it again. We have a sneaking suspicion that he is responsible for this eye-popping outfit that Kim Kardashian is wearing. (He pretends to be annoyed by the paparazzi, but dresses Kim like a target.) Her backless sweater and skin tight cut- off jeans with high heel sandals are not something you see every day in Calabasas. Keep in mind, Kanye thinks he and Kim are a worldwide fashion influence. The couple just walked out of a movie and we cannot imagine how Kim SAT in those painful pants.
