ASHLEE SIMPSON AND EVAN ROSS: TWO OF A KIND

Two people who are famous because they’re related to successful celebrities are getting married. And it looks like a good match. Ashlee Simpson, 29, lives in the shadow of her absurdly successful sister Jessica Simpson, whose business ventures earn billions. Aspiring actor Evan Ross, 25, is the son of Diana Ross and took HER last name to help him in Hollywood. Ashlee had plastic surgery to look more like her sister. So Ashlee and Evan already have something in common. They just got engaged and announced it on Twitter with the photo above. Ashlee was previously married to Pete Wentz and they have a son, this is Evan’s first marriage. Joe Simpson is probably already thinking about the pre-nup.

Pregnant Ashlee Simpson was not thrilled when her new husband Pete Wentz announced on the cover of OUT magazine in 2008 “Yeah, I am a fag!” He seemed to be drumming up some notoriety for himself by admitting that he had made out with guys and had a crush on John Mayer. An insider revealed to us that Ashlee has been frustrated because she complained she hasn’t had sex with her husband since last summer. He was always too busy or just not interested. Funny how things turn around. Now Jessica Simpson is loaded and she’s happily engaged to Eric Johnson. Ashlee is divorcing Pete (we don’t know exactly why, yet, but it will be revealed, and it won’t be pretty) and she’s asking for spousal and child support.
