ASHLEE SIMPSON AND EVAN ROSS AND THEIR FUTURE REALITY STAR

It’s easy to see who will be the breakout star on E!’s new Ashlee and Evan series: Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross’s two year old daughter Jagger is a real beauty. E! is calling the show a “docu-series” – perhaps to imply that it is less scripted than other Kardashian-inspired reality shows. While filming the series, Ashlee and Evan wrote and recorded an album together and the songs will be worked into the show. Whether any of the couple’s famous family members (including Diana Ross) will make cameos on the series, remains to be seen, but it might keep viewers tuning in. Ashlee and Evan premieres September 9.

Above Ashlee and Evan don’t bother to hide Jagger while out in public because they know what’s coming.

ASHLEE SIMPSON AND EVAN ROSS: YOUR NEW FAVORITE REALITY FAMILY?

We have a feeling that the E! network thought it was a good idea to do a reality show with Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson because they both have famous relatives: on Ashlee’s side – her sister Jessica Simpson, and on Evan’s side, sister Tracee Ellis Ross and mom Diana. Evan and Ashlee are coy about their famous families turning up in the show – in fact they hope to limit the appearances of their kids (daughter Jagger, 2, and Ashlee’s son 9 year old son Bronx with Pete Wentz) This weekend Evan and Ashlee filmed a musical appearance together at Warwick for the reality show – ahead of releasing an album together. We still have reservations about Ashlee after her SNL debacle.

ASHLEE SIMPSON CAN’T WAIT FOR THE BIG DAY

How long has Ashlee Simpson been pregnant? It seems like 16 months, and with each passing month she looks less like herself. Luckily her husband Evan Ross appears to be as doting as ever. Note to those who might question the propriety of our observations: Its okay to poke fun at pregnant women who are naturally pretty and thin, and will be again soon. Surely Ashlee will someday get a kick out of these photos of herself as a big girl.

Seems like Ashlee Simpson has just about given up on fashion until her baby is finally born. She looks like a whole different person and might be an ideal candidate for some weight loss program after the birth. Her sister Jessica made a lot of money with Weight Watchers after each of her kids were born. Luckily, Ashlee never had to suffer and struggle to take the pounds off like Jessica.

Evan Ross brought his new family to New York to watch his famous mother Diana Ross perform at Kings Theater in Brooklyn. Ashlee is pregnant with their first child and she brought her son Bronx to see his famous step-grandmother sing. Diana’s show was sold out and she brought Ashlee, Evan, and Bronx onstage at the end of the concert.

Come to think of it, every time we’ve seen Ashlee Simpson lately she’s been carrying a big shopping bag or large object blocking her midsection. That’s not the way to conceal a pregnancy! They’ve only been married since August but Ashlee, 30, and Evan Ross, 26, said they wanted kids right away and they’re getting their wish. No time for honeymooning – baby is on the way. Ashlee already has a son Bronx, 6, with her first husband Pete Wentz.

Nobody wanted to pay for Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross’s wedding photos, but this pic that sister Jessica posted on Instagram is a winner. Jessica and her lookalike two year old Maxwell, who was flower girl at the ceremony, are both wearing white fluffy dresses and the resemblance is startling. Lucky Maxwell got her mother’s looks and it appears that her little brother Ace, 1, also resembles the Simpson side of the family.

Evan Ross, 26, says that he knew Ashlee Simpson, 29, was THE ONE four months after they met. He proposed in January and they tied the knot this weekend at Evan’s mother Diana Ross’s estate in Greenwich, Connecticut. Which is a little odd, because most of their friends are on the West Coast. But Ashlee’s sister Jessica was maid of honor and her kids were in the wedding too. Can you imagine having Diana Ross for a mother-in-law?
