ALEC BALDWIN WILL GET A LITTLE HELP FROM HIS FRIENDS

Alec Baldwin is counting on his celebrity friends to help him beat involuntary manslaughter charges! An insider says Alec is determined to prove he wasn’t responsible for the tragic death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his movie, Rust, and he plans on the help of his famous friends to prove his innocence. According to an insider, a plea deal was floated around before the formal charges were filed on Jan 31, but Alec is determined to FIGHT the case and he’s relying on many of his fellow actors to testify if the case goes to trial. The insider predicts that Alec’s trial will have more movie stars than the Academy Awards. Alec hopes having many big name actors testify about gun use on movie sets will sway the jury in his favor. Many of his A-list pals have already agreed to testify on his behalf if needed.

RENEE ZELLWEGER APPRECIATES A WELL-DRESSED MAN (WHO DOESN’T?)

Renee Zellweger’s romance with Ant Anstead is still going strong, but there’s one thing about him she’s trying to change -his wardrobe. Although Renee is a blue jeans girl at heart, she’s always appreciated a well dressed man, so she’s been slowly trying to upgrade Ant’s closet. She spends a lot of time in Laguna Beach and has become a regular at nearby Fashion Island, working with a private shopper at Neiman Marcus to spruce up Ant’s clothes. TOM BRADY IS HOPING GISELE WILL COOPERATE

Now that he’s announced his retirement from football and MEANS it this time, Tom Brady has put his Florida house up for sale and hopes to relocate to California to focus on his next career as a movie producer, TV sports commentator, and maybe even an actor. BUT he has to persuade his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen to move also. He and Gisele have waterfront mansions across from one another in Florida where they planned to raise their kids since he played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He’s offered to buy Gisele a mansion in Beverly Bills if she will agree to relocate. Tom wants to be close to his kids. Our source says Gisele likes her life in South Florida (and her jiu-jitsu teacher there!) and although the idea of a mansion in Beverly Hills is appealing, she’s not saying yes just yet.

DR PHIL: WE TOLD YA SO!

Back in December , we told you that Oprah’s “discovery” Dr Phil, was secretly planning to run for office like Oprah’s other friend Dr Oz. He recently announced “I’m moving on from daytime” and leaving his show after 21 seasons. YOU know where he’s going!

 

WHAT has Oprah unleashed upon us! First, Dr Oz ran for the U.S. Senate and we were afraid he might get elected simply because Oprah made him such a well-known celebrity. Turns out, she didn’t agree with him politically, and he was not elected. Now Oprah’s OTHER protege, Dr Phil, is secretly gearing up to run for the Senate also! But not in his home state Texas, where Ted Cruz will run for re-election. Dr Phil’s plan is to buy a home in the state where he feels he has the best chance of winning, and become a candidate there. Oprah doesn’t see eye to eye with Dr Phil politically either, so don’t expect to see her on the campaign trail. Can he get elected without her?

Although she didn’t come out as gay until later in her career, this entertainer has never hidden her sexuality. But she IS hiding something else – she almost had a sex change! She’s always been a little rough around the edges, but in recent years she seemed to get more cantankerous, and the reason is: testosterone! Our gay gal decided she wanted to become a male and since she already had the haircut and the fashion sense, she secretly started transitioning. She never underwent any surgical procedures, but did take estrogen blockers and testosterone – which made her go from grumpy to REALLY grumpy. She had a change of heart though, and decided to stay female, so she’s calmed down and her softer side is showing.

As Gisele Bundchen (above) continues to grow close to her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente, her ex-husband Tom Brady did a very “Tom thing” – he took up jiu-jitsu! A friend of the pro footballer reveals that Tom’s competitive streak runs on and off the football field. When it comes to athleticism, Tom has an attitude of “anything you can do, I can do better!” and now he’s determined to earn a black belt in the marital art. Since Tom and Gisele’s kids are also studying under Joaquim, Tom’s explaining that it made sense for him to take up the sport, but a friend says his secret motivation is to become better than Joaquim.
