Now THIS is awkward. Lauren Sanchez is busy planning her upcoming wedding to Jeff Bezos, and of course she intends to hire the world’s best performers to entertain her A-list guests. Therein lies the problem. Since money is no object, Lauren was hoping to have none other than Taylor Swift perform on her big day, but one of her bridesmaids is Taylor’s nemesis Kim Kardashian. To say Lauren is stuck between a rock and a hard place would be an understatement. She’s a huge fan of Taylor’s music and it would be a dream come true to have her perform at her wedding, but she also adores Kim and fears it wouldn’t go over well with her. As we told you, Kim is quietly working to patch things up with Taylor, so SHE might solve the problem for Lauren.

WILL RIHANNA STAND BY HER MAN?

Rihanna’s future with her babies daddy A$AP Rocky is being TESTED, now that he’s looking at serious jail time after being charged with two counts of first degree assault with a firearm. According to an insider, Rihanna recently POSTPONED her secret wedding plans, confiding to a friend that she wants to wait until Rocky’s legal troubles are behind him. After today’s ruling where a judge decided there was enough evidence against Rocky to proceed with a trial, it seems that Rihanna is questioning the relationship. “Rihanna’s image isn’t that of a bad girl so she doesn’t want a husband behind bars,” our source explained. She just paused plans for her spring 2024 wedding explaining that everything is on an indefinite hold. My source predicts Rihanna will wait to see how Rocky’s trial turns out – if he’s acquitted, she’ll go ahead with the wedding, but if he’s CONVICTED, she’ll end things and not stand by her man.

We couldn’t resist sharing one last tidbit from our exclusive scoop about Chrissy Teigen and John Legend‘s wedding renewal ceremony in Lake Como, Italy last weekend. According to our spy, a few guests were surprised that Chrissy and John brought along their children when the invitation specifically instructed guests NOT to bring their kids. The problem? Guests were expected to pay for their own airfare, ground transportation and accommodations, and with rooms at the resort going for over $6000 a night, the tab easily added up. My source says that some guests were miffed that they shelled out so much money to attend, and were forced to leave their kids at home with sitters. “It’s one thing to say no kids allowed if John and Chrissy were picking up the tab for everything, but it’s borderline obnoxious to ban kids and still expect people to pay their own way,” the insider explains.

Party planners and social event hosts in Hollywood hesitate to invite unhappily divorced couples to the same gathering. To avoid unpleasant scenes, they have to choose one side or the other. These days they have to choose between inviting powerful Kanye West or popular Kim Kardashian. Kim has been the consistent winner recently. While Kim and Kanye were together, Stephanie Shepherd was Kim’s personal assistant. During that time, Kanye played matchmaker and introduced Stephanie to his manager (and Apple Music CEO) Larry Jackson. They fell in love and got married this weekend at a star-studded event in Beverly Hills. The bride and groom had to choose between inviting Kanye or Kim, and it was NOT easy. Turns out, Kim scored the invitation to the wedding. We doubt Kanye sent a wedding gift because he was snubbed.

REALLY? BRITNEY SPEARS’ SONS VETOED HER WEDDING?

Okay, something is VERY strange about the fact that Britney Spears’ sons Jayden, 15, and Sean, 16, did NOT attend their mother’s wedding. Britney’s lawyer offered the lame excuse that they were taken by surprise because the event was so sudden, and they “didn’t want to steal the spotlight from their mom” on the big day. (We imagined that Britney would have been very civilized and invited her ex Kevin Federline and his wife with their two boys.) She did NOT. Did the boys REALLY think THEY would steal attention from Britney when she had people like Madonna, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez etc at the ceremony? We think NOT.
