The biggest story of the week is arguably the biggest celebrity story of the year – the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce – so it’s only fitting this weeks Here’s What We Know is entirely dedicated to them and their nuptials.
As we previously -and exclusively – reported , guests have been told to show up in NYC and be ready for the July 3 affair. While the ceremony and reception are being held in two different venues, we hear that NOT everyone will be invited to both gatherings. The actual ceremony has a pared down guest list, while the reception’s headcount is quickly surpassing 1000 people – and more are being added on by the minute.
Three guests that will DEFINITELY be included however, are Taylor’s beloved cats! My source say Taylor considers her cats her family and she’s made arrangements for cat nannies (basically pet babysitters) to watch over the cats. Odds are they won’t be at the reception , since the loud music and bright lights could scare them , but they will be at the ceremony!
Both events will be protected by specially trained navy seals and elite members of the US military. Taylor and Travis’s guest list is peppered with movers and shakers and they want their guests to feel safe, so my source says their security budget alone is close to $500,000 for the weekend festivities. There will be more guards at this wedding than there are at Fort Knox.
The couple is also dropping a fortune on fresh flowers , with my source estimating that budget alone is $750,000. None of it will go to waste though , since after the festivities are finished, all of the flowers and any leftover food is being donated to hospitals, old folks homes, and homeless shelters around NYC.
The biggest benefit of the marital event might be charity, because Taylor and Travis have been offered upwards of $10 million for the worldwide exclusive photo rights to their wedding. A final decision hasn’t been made , but if they take the money my source says they intend to donate all of it to charity.
Taylor and Travis’s moms are in for a special surprise as the lovebirds are gifting them with matching diamond jewelry – including earrings, tennis necklaces ,and cocktail rings. That added another cool million to the wedding tab , but my source explains that they wanted their moms to have something special and extravagant to remember the special day by.
Of course, the other guests will also walk away with some swag, albeit not diamonds. They’re getting gift bags filled with a plethora of Travis and Taylor’s favorite things including boxes of Little Debbie Honey Buns. (A longtime favorite treat of Travis’) Guests are also getting merchandise from Taylor’s last tour and bags of homemade cookies that were baked using Taylor’s favorite recipe.
It’s a huge secret , but Taylor is planning to take the stage at her wedding and perform at least one song for Travis. That is in addition to the other performers, like Stevie Nicks, who are scheduled to sing.
Finally, expect BABY news soon! My source reveals that the couple have been trying for the past two months to get pregnant – they are both ready to start a family. If all goes according to plan, they will be parents within a year.

I thought it was super cringy when JLo sang to Ben at her wedding and it’s super cringy that Taylor did. And having quote from her song on the napkins? And allegedly food items named after her songs. And walking down the aisle to her own song? Huge ego. Huge. But the donations were nice.

I wish them much happiness and hope they have lots of babies. No comparison to the tacky, no class, over siliconed /botoxed Kardashian/Jenner grifters. No wild children like North West or Madonna’s kid Lourdes. Taylor has shown much kindness via charity contributions and financial bonuses. And just to be clear, I’ve never bought her music or attended her concerts.

Color me cynical. I remember many ‘blind items’ when they were dating, that this was (allegedly) a dating contract arranged. I’ve been around the block too many times to just automatically believe this new fairytale narrative. I’m not a Swifty music fan. I don’t have anything against her, I’ve just never liked her music, and her off-key singing is a turnoff (to me).

Normally, I would say the same, but when did you ever hear of Don Jr. or Jeff Bezos donating to charities for their wedding. It’s nice to hear they are using their $$ to help others, so I can deal with the hoopla around the wedding.
