HOW DESPERATE ARE THE NFL AND CBS TO HAVE TAYLOR SWIFT AT THE SUPER BOWL?

Here’s a late breaking update we just HAD to share. Travis Kelce and his mom Donna both made the news today with their “offhand comments” about Taylor Swift possibly not attending the Super Bowl -or even is she does attend, not having a private suite at the game. Here’s what we know: As we previously reported, Taylor was negotiating with the NFL and network (CBS) for transportation to and from the game AND a private suite at the game. She knows her presence will likely generate MILLIONS in revenue from increased ratings. Since she’s yet to get what she wants, she strategically put the word out via Travis and Donna that she just might NOT show up. Our source says the league and network REALLY want her to come, so they’re likely to give Taylor (and her millions of fans) whatever she’s asking for to get her to attend. Expect an announcement soon.

FRIENDS CAST IS COMMITTED TO UBER

Here’s an interesting gossip update.  Back in November we told you that the cast of Friends were secretly uniting for a Super Bowl ad, but the idea got scrapped after the unexpected passing of Matthew Perry.   The ad agency still liked the idea of a reunion commercial, but felt it would be too sad if the remaining cast were  all featured without Matthew. After much brainstorming, they decided to tweak the reunion idea and only feature two of the remaining Friends cast – Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer.  The concept got green-lit for an Uber Eats commercial  and our source says expect to see the other three remaining Friends in a future Uber spot, most likely to air this spring.

DOES IVANKA TRUMP DARE TO BUY A HOME IN BEVERLY HILLS?

Don’t tell her father, but Ivanka Trump is quietly looking for a home in Los Angeles. While her insecure dad Donald Trump continues to bash California and its governor, Gavin Newsom, Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner are house hunting in the Beverly Hills area. While Ivanka and Jared still plan to call Miami home, they seem to be spending more time on the West Coast, so they feel it makes sense to own a place here. The couple are making home sellers and realtors sign strict NDA’s since they don’t want to deal with the wrath of Donald if word got out they wanted to own a home in the state he seemingly hates. Too late! Our source who didn’t sign the agreement, blabbed!

LOURDES LEON: A REAL NEW YORK HOUSEWIFE?

She’s neither married or even engaged, but Lourdes Leon is being wooed to join The Real Housewives of New York. Despite a recent cast overhaul, the once popular show isn’t pulling in the ratings it once did. The powers that be, including Bravo’s own Andy Cohen, feel what’s lacking is some STAR POWER. While Lourdes isn’t actually A-list, her mom is MADONNA! The hope is that Madonna will make appearances if Lourdes is cast. A authoritative source reveals that former RHONY star, Luann de Lesseps, is coaching Lourdes for her upcoming screen test…

TYLA: FASHION WITH A SENSE OF HUMOR

South African singer/songwriter Tyla turned up at Clive Davis’s pre-Grammy party in this highly unusual and fun outfit. She almost looks like a cave girl with big bones twisted into her skimpy loin cloth. She gets points for originality (everybody else seemed to wear see-through mesh) -hers must be a South African designer. Tyla, 22, wore a gown to the award show and she WON a Grammy for Best African Music Performance, so it’s likely we will be seeing lots more of this cutie.

TAYLOR SWIFT BANNED TRAVIS FROM THE GRAMMYS

The Grammys took place in Los Angeles Sunday night and nominee Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was conspicuously absent. Here’s what we just found out: Travis was actually granted permission to take the night off from practice to attend music‘s biggest night as Taylor’s date, but SHE insisted he stay with his team and practice for the Super Bowl. Why? Taylor remembers that when Travis’ team, the KC Chiefs lost a game right after he was visiting her in South America where she was performing. Some fans blamed his poor game performance on being distracted by the trip. Taylor doesn’t want history to repeat herself and she doesn’t want to be blamed if Kansas City loses the Super Bowl next week. THAT’S why she and only she, insisted Travis not attend the Grammys. Smart girl!

CAN DONALD TRUMP TAKE A JOKE ON SNL?

Nikki Haley made a surprise appearance in the opening skit of Saturday Night Live on February 3 and to be politically fair, NBC also invited her main rivals, President Joe Biden and Donald Trump to appear in future episodes. According to our source, President Biden is 99% committed to appear, but Trump not so much.  The problem is:  the show doesn’t guarantee anything, meaning – you gotta be able to take a joke.  Case in point:  SNL ribbed  good sport Nikki about her misstep when she didn’t mention slavery as the reason for the Civil War.  While Biden is prepared to be made fun of – (we can almost hear the age jokes now ) – thin skinned Trump has zero sense of humor when HE’S the butt of jokes.  He insists on complete control of a skit.  Needless to say, the show said no way,  so it’s unlikely now he will appear.  Based on his past behavior, he’ll CLAIM he was unfairly excluded, so remember where you read this.  He turned them down because he can’t take a joke.

NICOLE PELTZ BECKHAM SPARES NO EXPENSE

Nicole Peltz Beckham knows how to toss a party. The 29-year-old heiress/actress, who is married to fellow trust-fund spawn Brooklyn Beckham, is starring in the movie Lola, that she also wrote and directed herself. She’s debuted the movie in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 3, and  hosted the screening and after party. For those lucky enough to be invited, this wasn’t  the typical free popcorn and candy movie screening. Following in her billionaire dad’s footsteps, Nicole  hosted an over-the-top soirée at The Beverly Hills Hotel, and she spent  half a million dollars on the party! Suddenly Brooklyn has a wife who is more famous and successful than HE is!

Stay tuned because our source says it IS going to happen. In the meantime, Justin continues to dress more like a slob than the husband of a top model. TAYLOR SWIFT IS DAYS AWAY FROM A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

We are bombarded by Taylor Swift gossip lately, so add this to the list of scoops. Our Taylor source has been spot-on now for months, so here’s what we just heard: Travis Kelce has asked Taylor’s dad for PERMISSION to marry her, and if all the stars align, they will announce their engagement just a few days after the Super Bowl on Valentine’s Day. Taylor doesn’t take the stage in Australia until two days AFTER V-Day so the timing is perfect. If it doesn’t happen then, however, our source insists it will happen SOON after.
