WOULD YOU LIKE TO SMELL LIKE TAYLOR AND TRAVIS?

They’re the “it couple” of the moment but no one knows for sure if Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will take the plunge – and launch their signature fragrances! According to a fragrance industry insider, Travis and Taylor have been offered an extremely lucrative deal to debut signature scents together. Since celebrity fragrances can make millions, (just ask Ariana Grande) the insider speculates that the initial deal could guarantee the attractive couple a minimum of $10 million each (!) with the possibility of earning much more, based on sales. My fragrance source says Taylor and Travis have been bombarded with various joint deals, but this one seems to have their attention.

WANNA SMELL LIKE AUSTIN BUTLER?

Thanks to his starring role as Elvis, Austin Butler is the HOTTEST thing in Hollywood and he’s suddenly BOMBARDED with offers to become the face of various fashion labels and fragrances. His industry-savvy girlfriend, model Kaia Gerber, and her mom, supermodel Cindy Crawford, are helping him negotiate the deals. Austin wants to be seen as a serious actor and may soon have an Oscar on his mantle, so he doesn’t want to risk his reputation and pose in his Calvin Klein underwear like Mark Wahlberg. But he IS tempted by the big bucks. But he  can take his time, since the offers seem to get MORE lucrative by the day.

KIM AND CHER: IS IMITATION THE SINCEREST FORM OF FLATTERY?

Kim Kardashian says she has always been a big fan of Cher – and she HAS been known to dress up as Cher on Halloween. Kim was also seen with friends in the audience at Cher’s 2018 concert in Las Vegas. Cher and Kim have also been photographed at some Armenian events. Does all that mean Cher won’t be just a LITTLE irritated by the fact that Kim obviously imitated her perfume ad? Note that both ads are black and white, feature an oversize fragrance bottle, and the same hairstyle. Maybe Cher will take it as a compliment –or maybe not…

RIHANNA DOESN’T MIND SMELLING LIKE A MAN

Rihanna introduced her fifth scent called Rogue Man at Macy’s in Atlanta – to great fanfare. She makes millions from each cologne- and with a minimum of effort. FYI- of the top selling 100 fragrances- 31 are tied to celebrities so the perfume companies are getting their money’s worth. Rihanna’s biggest fragrance competitors are Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, and Beyonce. Rihanna tweeted her Rogue Man info to her millions of followers to drum up business – and it worked.

ADAM LEVINE’S FRAGRANCE WILL NOT STINK UP AN ELEVATOR

#adamlevine #janetcharlton
At first we were quite skeptical about Adam Levine introducing a fragrance. Sure, he found success with Maroon 5 and The Voice, but can a MAN who’s not a famous designer sell a fragrance? Especially a man who was loudly and totally against ALL celebrity fragrances until HIS opportunity presented itself? We’re starting to think Adam’s scents for both men and women might do OK. He calls them the “anti- cologne” – they are subtle, and intended to be noticed only when one is ”in close proximity to the wearer.” Plus. Adam is a cool looking guy and well liked by both men and women. We shall see…

LIFE KEEPS GETTING BETTER FOR STACY KEIBLER, THANKS TO GEORGE CLOONEY

Plenty of women would love to know how Stacy Keibler landed George Clooney for a boyfriend. He IS, after all, notoriously generous, and one of the hottest male commodities in Hollywood. Perhaps that’s why Stacy has been offered the ultimate celebrity status symbol – her own signature fragrance. The company that does Katy Perry’s successful cologne is working to debut a Stacy Keibler’s fragrance as soon as possible – while she and George are still going strong.

MADONNA WANTS HER MEN TO SMELL LIKE WHISKEY

Now that Madonna has her Truth or Dare fragrance selling at Macy’s, she’s starting to think bigger. Besides another scent for women, she’s considering developing a men’s cologne, according to WWD. Madonna says her daughter Lourdes likes to wear men’s cologne and it was HER idea. Madonna is toying with the idea of a whiskey scented men’s fragrance. But is that something that would attract women? We think women would appreciate a men’s cologne with a clean, soapy smell, not whiskey or cigarettes. Just a suggestion.

Update: Someone should bring it to Madonna’s attention that smelling “like whiskey” might not be a good idea for men stopped by a traffic cop or at a job interview…

LEANN RIMES TO BRANDI GLANVILLE: IMITATION IS THE SINCEREST FORM OF FLATTERY!

Not only did LeAnn Rimes, 29, steal Brandi Glanville’s husband – she also stole her scent! LeAnn noticed and loved the fragrance that Brandi, 39, wore to a recent soccer game. Since they are now speaking, LeAnn asked what it was and Brandi told her “Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom.” Ruthless LeAnn went right out and bought the same cologne and now she wears it all the time – it’s HER scent too! Of course, her husband Eddie Cibrian is crazy about it.

NOT EVERYONE IS HAPPY ABOUT KATY PERRY’S DIVORCE

We were surprised to hear that Katy Perry’s divorce is actually affecting her fragrance sales! According to a business source, Katy’s fragrances do particularly well in the “Christian markets” in the midwest and south where they frown on divorce. Sales have dropped around 25% in those areas, perhaps because she’s not as innocent as she used to be. Her original scent is called “Purr” and she promoted her new fragrance, “Meow,” recently at Nordstrom at The Grove with considerable fanfare.

KATY PERRY: CLANG, CLANG, CLANG, GOES THE TROLLEY!

We just returned from The Grove where we saw the new Sherlock Holmes movie, and noticed the mall was unusually packed with shoppers, security people, and velvet ropes. And it wasn’t just to see Santa. Katy Perry had been there for a few hours promoting her new fragrance “Meow” that is on sale at Nordstrom. She made a spectacular arrival on the trolley and looked adorable in pink, but rather normal. (We guess she’s giving her overprocessed hair a rest.)
