it makes me laugh to read some of these comments. it amazes me to see such closed minded people in today’s world. i feel so sorry for you that you carry around such hate for no reason. first things first, i am not gay, but i do have both gay and lesbian friends who are amazing people and i feel extremely blessed to know them. i was born and raised catholic and i have read the bible. however, i’ve noticed how certain people of the church tend to take certain things from the bible, ie homosexuality, and make it the only thing they focus on. if you are going to follow the bible, you should do the same with every little part! for instance, have you ate sea food in the past year, month, or even week. if so you are going to burn in hell b/c according to leviticus it is a sin to eat seafood. or have you ever worked on a sunday? i know i have…well according to the bible that is punishable by death. so is touching a woman during her menstral cycle. there are so many other things in the bible that most “christians” tend to just sweep under the rug so they can focus on things such as “homosexuality”. and if you had any sort of education, you would realize that when the bible was written, the people of that time didn’t fully understand what homosexuality was. the reason it was such a sin is because men who slept with other men were “wasting their seed” so to speak. everyone was trying to populate the world and by sleeping with the same sex, you weren’t making babies. It wasn’t a sin b/c of your sexual preference, it was a sin b/c you were wasting your seed. but in today’s world, people are still scared of anything different and they thrive on hate rather than accepting love and accepting things they may not understand. i believe that god would never condem a good person who simply loves someone of the same sex. in fact, he probably frowns on all who use him for their hipocracy.
