Right before this picture was taken, there was an awkward moment when Hayden Panettiere (above) and Kristin Cavallari ran into each other at Surly Girl on Robertson. Kristin had gift certificates and she was picking out loads of clothes and accessories when Hayden walked in. Hayden is now dating Kristin’s exboyfriend Stephen Colletti – who was also her Laguna Beach costar. Salesclerks worried that there might be antagonism, but the girls were very friendly. Kristin asked how Stephen was doing and they were “really sweet to each other.” Hayden ended up getting the same oversize crocodile Italian clutch bag that Kristin did. Same taste in boyfriends AND handbags.
