Here’s Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore arriving separately at LAX – no doubt to promote their new movie “Music and Lyrics.” Drew, like her movie character, is in her own blissful world, while Hugh, like HIS character, looks pensive. Actually the movie is better than one would expect. Grant’s 80’s popstar performances are REALLY amusing and newcomer Haley Bennett, who plays a Britney inspired current popstar is hilarious also. We never thought we’d say this , but the musical performances in the movie are the absolute BEST part. We almost forgot how outrageous those 80’s videos were.

Janet, I hope the film’s publicist sees this!
that film is DRECK! they should all be embarrassed by it.
I smell payola again.
i think that they take the same movie and just give it different titles. so predictable.
why do the put this crap out?
in my thinking, there are millions of true love stories out there right now. theres lots of inspiration to be gained from that alone.
drew does her same goo goo ga ga wide eyes routine and hugh plays the same uptight tard with that smug snotty face on his look that once in a while features a twinkling eye.

boring. hollywood needs some fresh talent.
I think it’s a little different in that it’s about songwriting and the music biz. I’m sure it was made because of the popularity of “American Idol”. Being a songwriter I’m interested, but I probably will wait for dvd.
i believe this film was truly amazing and the music and lyrics were a phenom. as for the comment above about new talent in hollywood, look no further, haley bennett was inspiring and as talented as new talent can get!!! she toatlly rocked and was funny too boot!
