THE MADDEN BROTHERS ARE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT

In case you haven’t noticed, identical twins Joel and Benji Madden’s wives are two of the happiest women in Hollywood! And both Nicole Richie and Cameron Diaz are extremely attractive and wealthier than their husbands! The explanation is simple: these ordinary looking guys know how to behave and how to treat women. Yes they’re musicians, but neither of the brothers has ever used alcohol or drugs! They may not LOOK particularly refined, but they have exceptional manners and bend over backwards to treat their women well and raise their children right. Their relationships have always lasted a long time and their marriages probably will too! These twins should write a book.

Iggy Pop Wife

IGGY POP STILL HAS A “LUST FOR LIFE”

We didn’t realize that the “Godfather of Punk” Iggy Pop, 72, had such a bombshell for a third wife. She’s Nina Alu, 49, a former flight attendant, and they were married in 2008. Last year, for some reason, Iggy signed over his five million dollar Coconut Grove mansion to his wife. Iggy, who still performs topless, kept his sheer shirt on when the couple attended the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London.

THINGS ARE LOOKING UP FOR BILLY BUSH

Christmas might not be quite as bad as it could be for Billy Bush this time around. He lost his lucrative job on NBC’s Today Show last year, due to his infamous taped conversation with Donald Trump. In September he and his wife Sydney separated, and he seemed to be jobless and at rock bottom. But he’s been seen with his estranged wife several times this week – and they just dined at the Grove with two of their daughters- so all is not lost.

Rock stars get overwhelmed in Bed, Bath, & Beyond too! Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea have a list of necessities (including a teapot) and they’re on the hunt. Believe it or not, they are high school sweethearts who’ve been married for 28 years and have four kids. Unusual for a rocker. Dorothea, who runs their Soul Kitchen charities, says the fact that she always goes on tour with Jon has held the marriage together. We think the fact that they still SHOP together helps too .

When we saw this photo of Tommy Chong leaving a Brentwood restaurant with a flirtatious blonde we thought he was fooling around on his wife with a younger woman. But no, it turns out THIS IS HIS WIFE. And they’ve been married with kids for 43 years! Tommy, at 78, is ten years older than Shelby, but she looks several decades younger. Shelby, an actress/producer, has kept her youthful exuberance – maybe living with a comedian is not so bad…

JERMAINE JACKSUN IS A VICTIM OF DOMESTIC ABUSE

Jermaine Jacksun (he legally changed the spelling of his name “for artistic reasons.”) has always been a bit of a mystery. We got the feeling that he resented the success which seemed to come so easily to his brother Michael and sister Janet. He’s back in the news because his WIFE was arrested for domestic abuse – she bit him on the leg and spent a few hours in jail. Halima Rashid, 38, supposedly comes from a well-to-do family in Afghanistan. Although he lives well, it always seems like Jermaine, 60, is short of money. He’s appeared on many tacky reality shows in England and Celebrity Wife Swap here. He did come up with the $50,000 to bail his wife out, however.

ON VACATION WITH THE JACKSONS AND THE JOHNSONS

Look who’s on a double date: Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie and Samuel L Jackson and his wife LaTanya (she has the foot cast.) The foursome, along with Magic’s son EJ, are vacationing in Saint-Tropez, and they all did a little shopping and finished it off with ice cream cones. Both couples have long marriages by celebrity standards – Sam and LaTanya met in college and have been married since 1980. (LaTanya has a Master’s degree from NYU.) Magic married Cookie in 1991 when she was in the fashion business. Her clothing line has since grown into a 50 million dollar operation. Yes, both guys married WELL.

Steve Harvey isn’t a guy you’d expect to turn up in Paris for Fashion Week, but his wife Marjorie is very persuasive. Marjorie LOVES designer clothes and she attends the shows whenever possible. BRUCE WILLIS ISN’T SUCH A TOUGH GUY ANY MORE

Moody and sometimes petulant Bruce Willis may be rude to talk show hosts, but he listens carefully to his beautiful young wife Emma Heming. Willis built his action image on his series of Die Hard movies and often bragged about doing his own risky stunts and the resulting injuries. Now that he’s married to his much younger wife and has a baby daughter Mabel, Bruce doesn’t take physical chances because Emma doesn’t want him to. JESSICA SEINFELD APPEARS TO BE THE PERFECT WIFE

The more we hear about Jessica Seinfeld the more we think Jerry Seinfeld was brilliant to have chosen her as his wife. Jessica got a bad rep because she took up with Jerry soon after regretfully marrying someone else. Sometimes you meet the right person at the wrong time, but Jerry was right to pursue her anyway. He has admitted that his smart wife runs his life- she arranges his schedule and makes sure he keeps all appointments. She literally does everything for him except write jokes. All this, while working for her children’s charity and raising THEIR three children (Shephard, 7, Julian, 9, and Sascha, 12) and feeding them organic home made food. Yes, she’s a fabulous and healthy cook and has written several cook books. And now she’s coming out with a cook book for people like us who lack kitchen skills – it’s called “The Can’t Cook Book: Recipes for the Absolutely Terrified.”
