(Definitely more than a big lunch.) Jessica, 37, already has two cute kids with her husband Eric Johnson – daughter Maxwell, 5, and son Ace, 4. Her lips are sealed- Jessica likes to announce her pregnancies on TV shows like Ellen. She started out as a singer/actress, but her fashion businesses eclipsed her other ventures. Simpson developed a billion dollar fashion empire and her net worth is now 170 million – not bad for someone who once confused tuna for chicken.

We published this photo of Eva Longoria a few days after Thanksgiving, speculating about her big dress, which is quite out of character. Eva had been denying pregnancy rumors for months (even in a bikini) – she laughingly claimed she binged on pancakes or cheese. The real clue that she WAS, indeed, expecting, was that actress Eva was uncharacteristically devil-may-care about her apparent weight gain. She just didn’t CARE – because she KNEW she wasn’t out of control – she had a happy secret. Today she admitted she’s expecting a BOY- her first child with new husband Jose Baston!

But SHE created this photo herself – and paid for it – to present to THE PUBLIC! She’s posed in her UNDERWEAR holding her belly with a gauzy veil over her head, implying something religious. And that Demi Moore smirk! She’s surrounded by a funereal display of flowers – as if someone said – “We need more color- add flowers!” We’re happy about her twins, but there are less creepy ways to make such an announcement! This is beneath Beyonce.
After several years of being blackballed in Hollywood, professional Christian Mel Gibson, 60, has a lot to be thankful for. His comeback film Hacksaw Ridge has been well received, and his 25 year old girlfriend Rosalind Ross is expecting his 9th child. To top it off, Donald Trump was elected president! Mel was smart NOT to get into any political discussions before the election because he’s walking on eggshells already…. (We HATE the beard!)

Naturally Janet Jackson’s pregnancy at the age of 50 has brought up MANY questions – that she has made clear she DOESN’T want to answer. Many women her age would love to know how she pulled it off. But Janet’s not talking. There are a number of possibilities – most likely Janet had an egg donor. It’s highly unlikely for women her age to conceive without help. Janet MAY have frozen her eggs a few years ago (she always wanted kids,) or she may have asked a relative to donate an egg, or perhaps she selected a stranger’s donated egg or eggs. But don’t look to her for advice on how to have a baby at 50 – she won’t share. Of course it always helps to be exceedingly wealthy! We are happy for her.

How long has Ashlee Simpson been pregnant? It seems like 16 months, and with each passing month she looks less like herself. Luckily her husband Evan Ross appears to be as doting as ever. Note to those who might question the propriety of our observations: Its okay to poke fun at pregnant women who are naturally pretty and thin, and will be again soon. Surely Ashlee will someday get a kick out of these photos of herself as a big girl.

Her sister Jessica made a lot of money with Weight Watchers after each of her kids were born. Luckily, Ashlee never had to suffer and struggle to take the pounds off like Jessica.

They only got married a few weeks ago, but ever since then Cameron Diaz has been wearing her husband Benji’s favorite color: black. Naturally we assume that our prediction is correct – they married in a big hurry because Cameron is pregnant. This weekend the couple went out on a double date with Benji’s twin Joel Madden and Nicole Richie to Giorgio Baldi. ALL FOUR wore black, perhaps in support of Cameron, who is keeping her secret. She’s not in the habit of wearing baggy black wrap-around dresses, so feel free to jump to conclusions. We’re happy for her.

Pregnant women have a habit of dressing badly on the red carpet. They often wear absurdly low cut dresses and often hideously tight ones. Beautiful “Gone Girl” star Rosamund Pike did all the right things at the Critics Choice Awards. She still has a sexy shape without exposing too much. The flowing empire skirt beautifully disguises her tummy and looks feminine and light. Very tasteful. To top it off she looks comfortable.
