Halle Berry and her family had barely touched down at LAX when the histrionics began. A police escort was waiting to walk them through the terminal to their car. Olivier Martinez warned the paparazzi and everyone else to keep their distance. Halle clutched little Maceo and threw a coat over Nahla’s head. Olivier was carrying a child’s car seat and when he thought a man got too close to his family, he whacked him with the seat! The man turned out to be an airport employee and he says he intends to press charges.

Halle Berry and her husband Olivier Martinez are running late for a flight and dashing through LAX. Halle’s carrying their cute little boy Maceo who looks almost as worried as Halle does. Nahla, 6, might be with her daddy Gabriel Aubry. Halle took Aubry to court for lightening and straightening their daughter’s hair and the judge declared that neither parent could do anything to Nahla’s hair, so the matter has been settled. Until the NEXT time Halle goes to court.

We’re starting to think those rumors about Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez having relationship problems are true. Olivier was counting on moving Halle and Nahla to Paris where Halle claimed they would be less harassed by paparazzi, but the judge ruled against it. Olivier has an acting career in Paris and his business contacts and friends are there. He feels disconnected in Hollywood, where he doesn’t have much to do. He’s been visiting Paris alone a lot and leaving Halle home with Nahla. This will be a huge obstacle for the couple to overcome.

Halle Berry hasn’t given up on taking Nahla to live in France- because she claims he paparazzi aren’t so aggressive there. The judge should point out that Paris wasn’t so safe for Princess Diana. AND she could lose the paparazzi simply by moving 30 or 40 miles outside of Beverly Hills. Photographers prefer to stay in the area to be available for newsworthy events. Above, Halle and Nahla shopped at Pavilions in West Hollywood. We’re guessing Olivier Martinez’s history of boxing (his father was a champion boxer in Paris) is the reason that fistfight case with Gabriel Aubry was settled so quickly.

HALLE BERRY HAD A RUDE AWAKENING IN COURT

As a celebrity, Halle Berry is accustomed to getting her way. Imagine her complete shock when a custody judge ruled that she and her daughter Nahla CANNOT move to France with Halle’s fiance Olivier Martinez. At least for now. Nahla’s father Gabriel Aubry doesn’t want his child to move so far away but Halle was confident that she could convince the judge that Nahla would be “safer” in France because of paparazzi laws. Apparently the astute judge didn’t consider paparazzi to be a “danger” – just an annoyance. We’re happy for Gabriel – but you can bet Halle has NOT given up on this issue. She always gets what she wants.

Gabriel Aubry often says that his daughter Nahla is his first priority and he finds great joy in taking her to and from school. He has good reason to be fearful that his ex Halle Berry plans to move to Paris with their daughter and her fiancee Olivier Martinez. Halle means business. Not only was she checking out schools in Paris recently but she is in the process of learning French with a private Berlitz tutor. Gabriel’s only hope is that the court won’t allow Halle to take Nahla so far away.
