This is the kind of photo that probably breaks Gabriel Aubry’s heart just a little. His daughter Nahla is frolicking on the beach in Malibu with her mom Halle Berry and Halle’s fiance Olivier Martinez – looking like a happy family. Next week the movie “Dark Tide” in which Halle and Olivier play deep sea divers avoiding sharks will be released – they fell in love while filming on the ocean.

Olivier Martinez is happily carrying Nahla and he and Halle Berry arrive at a cafe for Sunday brunch. Halle is still on crutches after breaking her foot and her cast is festively decorated. Apparently Olivier is not alarmed by the nasty custody battle going on between Halle and her ex Gabriel Aubry. Halle is charging Gabriel with all sorts of violent and angry behavior in the presence of their child (he has to attend anger management classes) but Nahla seems to really love her daddy.

We have to give credit to Olivier Martinez for hanging in there – his relationship with Halle Berry has lasted longer than we expected. He’s a love ‘em and leave ‘em kind of guy. We can just imagine Olivier flinching every time Halle badmouths the father of her child, Gabriel Aubry, or drags him back into court for child custody debates. We’re starting to have our doubts about Halle Berry. It seems that she’s in the habit of trashing every man she’s been with. She implied physical abuse from her husband David Justice and asked for a restraining order. (Justice later said “I always felt like I was walking on eggshells around her. Everything I did was wrong.”) Her second husband Eric Benet was branded a “sex addict.” She also accused an unnamed actor/boyfriend of physical abuse to the extent that he broke her eardrum. Everyone assumed she meant Wesley Snipes. Then there was the Chicago dentist, an exboyfriend who sued her for $80,000 he lent her while she was a struggling young actress- he claimed he paid for breast implants, etc. Breaking up with Halle can be very dangerous. Gabriel Aubry is already being accused of using the n-word with her. We’ll believe it when she proves it with an email or tape. Meanwhile, Olivier Martinez must be shaking in his motorcycle boots.
Halle Berry is out and about rigorously touring pre-schools in the Hollywood area in hopes of finding the perfect place for her daughter Nahla. (Above, she’s at the ABC Little School) The question is: will she share this decision with Nahla’s father Gabriel Aubry? Although their split was once described as “amicable” things have changed since Halle fell for Olivier Martinez. Friendly breakups have a way of going bad when one party falls in love TOO quickly with someone else. Gabriel is getting ready for a custody battle because he wants more access to Nahla .

At 7:30 AM Sunday morning Olivier Martinez was seen alone at the Susina bakery on Beverly Boulevard drinking coffee and eating a croissant. The French hunk – and current boyfriend of Halle Berry – was wearing a t shirt and jeans but since rain was in the forecast he was driving his Aston Martin instead of his motorcycle. A woman at the next table observed Olivier and teased him a bit saying “I didn’t know French people dipped their croissants into coffee like Americans dunk donuts!” Olivier laughed and he was friendly and chatted with several strangers. No sign of Halle.

Aha! Kim Kardashian and Halle Berry’s babydaddy/exboyfriend Gabriel Aubry were photographed sitting side by side at the Lakers game last night and there was much speculation about whether they arrived together or just happened to have seats next to each other. Here’s proof that they did, indeed, arrive together (they kept five feet between them and tried to be nonchalant.) It certainly IS a date although they tried to keep it quiet. We’re not surprised – Halle has been having a very public romance with French actor Olivier Martinez.
Halle Berry is asking for trouble. She’s pictured here walking around Paris looking awfully happy, with her “Dark Tide” costar Olivier Martinez, his dog and her friend Salma Hayek and her daughter. Halle and Olivier finished their movie, Halle flew back to LA for a week and then returned to Paris to see Olivier. Trouble is, the charming Martinez is something of a playboy and has romanced a number of famous women (including Kylie Minogue, Angelina Jolie, Mira Sorvino, and models Elsa Pataky and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.) Odds are not in Halle’s favor for a long term relationship, so hopefully she’s keeping that in mind.
Halle Berry and her “Dark Tides” costar Olivier Martinez are still going strong. She and her luggage arrived at his Paris apartment today. Come what may – Halle is having fun with the “Unfaithful” hunk.

This is the happiest we’ve seen Halle Berry look in a VERY long time! She’s in Cape Town, South Africa, filming “Dark Tide” with Olivier Martinez and it looks like they hit it off right away. Halle, 44, split with Gabriel Aubry not long ago, and Olivier, also 44, (remember how sexy he was in “Unfaithful?”) are pictured here BETWEEN TAKES on the set. We’re thinking there’s more than a little spark here.
