WHAT THE HECK DO MARY-KATE OLSEN AND KANYE WEST HAVE IN COMMON?

Oh, yeah, fashion. We already know how successful Mary-Kate has been with her many lines, including the high-end collection, The Row, which is only sold at the most exclusive stores. Coincidentally or not, Kanye is said to be developing a similar high end collection for men and women and supposedly has set up a studio in Paris. He could learn a lot from her.
However that doesn’t not explain the fact that Page Six says they were reportedly seen “making out” in New York at West’s 34th birthday party! Are they an unlikely couple or WHAT? Petite Mary-Kate usually prefers arty downtown Jewish guys from good families, while rapper Kanye has a yen for ultra sexy video vixens like Amber Rose or leggy models. We’re eager to see if this odd coupling develops into anything…

JENNIFER ANISTON’S NEW BOYFRIEND JUSTIN THEROUX IS A HOT COMMODITY

Contrary to speculation, Jennifer Aniston is not dating a Hasidic. Her bearded beau, Justin Theroux, 39, is more than just an actor- he’s also a successful screenwriter, responsible for the Iron Man II script. He also wrote a script called “A Dog’s Ransom” about a publishing house executive whose dog is kidnapped for ransom, with Ben Affleck directing, and Hugh Laurie set to star. Hence, we assume he is smarter than the average actor, and more likely to hold Jennifer’s interest. Justin is also a dog lover – he’s part of a campaign to educate people NOT to chain up dogs in the back yard. He asks “Would you ever dream of chaining up your best friend outside?” ( She’s gotta love him for that!) Justin looks rather fetching without the facial hair. So far so good.

PRINCE AND HIS NEW GIRLFRIEND, BALLERINA MISTY COPELAND

According to our spy at the Elton John Oscar party, Prince was one of the nicest and most polite celebrities to arrive – he waited patiently and turned down an offer to be escorted to the front of the line. We predicted that he would move on from his last girlfriend Bria Valente to concentrate on American Ballet Theater soloist Misty Copeland, and it looks like we were right. Misty was his Oscar night date. It also looks like he designed her dress because it somewhat resembles the dress he designed for his Oscar date Kim Basinger many years ago! (He loves shoulderpads and asymmetrical looks.)

According to CJ at the Star Tribune, Kim spent New Years Eve in Las Vegas and then flew to Minnesota to join Kris, who had a game on New Years day. Kim has been heard calling her 6’9” Taylor Lautner lookalike boyfriend by the nickname “Roman.” Kim’s only hope is that her publicity loving mom Kris Jenner can convert Kris Humphries to embrace the media. They’ll certainly want to feature him on their reality shows.

We love it when a paparazzi manages to catch a new couple on a date and follows them around all evening! Josh Groban and Selma Blair had little chance of privacy when a smart photographer spotted them trying to be low-key at The Grove. The couple had a sip of something at a cozy table at the French wine bar Monsieur Marcel at the farmer’s market. Afterward they went to the movies and caught the 9:35 showing of “Salt” – this week’s big date movie. Josh loves the Grove – we’ve seen him more than once at The Farm restaurant with a date.

Pamela split with her husband in 2006 and a few months ago Jason called off his engagement to Katja Decker-Sadowski, 21. Both Jason, 22, and Pam, 45, have had skirmishes with the law and problems with drinking, so they have something in common. Coincidentally or not, Jason supposedly just happens to be shopping around a reality show “Jason & the Cougars.”
