THE SAWEETIE MEAL HAS PLENTY OF CALORIES, MINIMAL NUTRITION

McDonald’s has been enjoying some excellent profits thanks to their collaborations with pop and rap stars. Travis Scoot’s meals SOLD OUT at many McDonalds. Latest offer is the Saweetie Meal that comes wrapped in sparkly paper. Rapper Sweetie’s hand-picked meal consists of a Big Mac, 4 chicken McNuggets, (with Saweetie n’ Sour BBQ sauces) medium fries, and a medium Sprite. McDonald’s is NOT revealing the price because prices vary with locations, but we CAN tell you the CALORIE COUNT of her meal: a whopping 1370 calories! So don’t eat anything else all day!

McDonalds, in various Asian countries, including the Philippines, serves these McRice Burgers that titillate the imagination. Instead of buns they are served on rice cakes – but not the dry rice cakes we use for dieting. It’s moist rice pressed together and covered with sesame seeds. Those who have tasted these burgers rave that they are delicious and should be sold in the US. A touch of internationalism would make McDonald’s menu more appealing.

MCDONALDS’ EXPERIMENTAL FUTURISTIC DECOR IS HERE

Take a look at the possible future of McDonald’s. Not bad, eh? It just goes to prove that NOTHING has to be ugly. The fast-food icon just opened an experimental “Black Label” McDonalds in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood. It features mid-century modern Danish decor, free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV’s, (we can live without THAT) – but we LOVE the functional modern bathrooms. It’s the first example of this new urban design in the US, and McDonalds is carefully monitoring customer reaction. The food, however, remains the same.

For those of you who were gullible enough to BELIEVE those magazine cover stories about Brad and Angelina splitting up, here’s proof that the publications are just trying to boost circulation. As usual, Brad and Angelina have been busy with their careers and forced to spend some time apart, but they always reunite as soon as possible. These two are still very much a couple, and this weekend they treated the kids to McDonald’s in Studio City. Brad was reportedly very polite to the woman at the drive-thru window – he asked for extra ketchup.

KATHERINE HEIGL GETS WHAT SHE REALLY WANTS FOR HER BIRTHDAY

Katherine Heigl’s birthday is November 24, and to avoid colliding with Thanksgiving activities, she celebrated her thirtieth a week early with a fancy dress up “old Hollywood glamour ” themed party. (Actually her husband looks more 1970’s) She rented a special vintage Packard for her dramatic arrival. After the party she REALLY celebrated, by having the driver take her and her husband to McDonald’s where she devoured a 540 calorie Big Mac.

Miley Cyrus and her family got all dressed up and went to church on Easter Sunday, but with sermons still dancing in her head, she made a beeline for McDonald’s as soon as she got out. The lucky teen can devour a large order of fries without a pang of guilt or embarrassment in full view of photographers.
