HALLE BERRY NO LONGER FEELS SAFE IN HER HOME

According to the Hollywood grapevine, Halle Berry is really freaked out by the stalker that has been climbing her wall and looking in her kitchen window. She no longer feels safe in her house and is looking around for another one that has not only high walls and a gate, but a private street with security. In the back of her mind she’s also afraid that her baby daddy Gabriel will use the safety issue to get more custody time with Nahla because nobody stalks HIM, and THAT is pushing her to find another home.

We have to give credit to Olivier Martinez for hanging in there – his relationship with Halle Berry has lasted longer than we expected. He’s a love ‘em and leave ‘em kind of guy. We can just imagine Olivier flinching every time Halle badmouths the father of her child, Gabriel Aubry, or drags him back into court for child custody debates. ARETHA FRANKLIN: YES TO JENNIFER HUDSON – NO TO QUEEN LATIFAH

Aretha Franklin has resigned herself to the fact that her first choice to star in her life story- Halle Berry-doesn’t feel she can play the role because she can’t sing. Aretha was a little miffed, but says she prefers someone with “more confidence” anyway. Given choices, Aretha told Wendy Williams she can picture Jennifer Hudson in the part but for some reason, absolutely NOT Queen Latifah, who seems like a logical choice. Nobody argues with Aretha.

Halle Berry’s ex Eric Benet and Prince’s ex Manuela Testolini are engaged and planning to wed this summer, and they both bring a lot of baggage to the relationship. Manuela (she’s Egyptian and Italian) was a lifelong Prince FAN who wormed her way into a job at Paisley Park, became an ardent Jehovah’s Witness with him, ended up his assistant, and eventually his wife. After five years, SHE filed for divorce in 2006. Singer Eric Benet struggled to retain his fan base after his wife Halle Berry labeled him a “sex addict” and packed him off to sex rehab in an attempt to patch up their failing marriage. Hopefully they both learned from their previous experiences.

Halle Berry’s problems with men started early, when she recalls her father as a violent alcoholic who beat her mother. Jerome Berry left the family in Cleveland when Halle was four. Halle had half siblings from her father’s previous marriage, but eventually lost touch with them and Jerome’s other relatives. Halle refused to visit her father, a hospital porter, when he lay dying from Parkinson’s disease a few years ago. Now her half sister Renee Berry says that Halle has been totally estranged from the black side of her family for YEARS, in spite of their attempts to contact her. Odd, for a woman who considers herself and her baby black.

HALLE BERRY IS IN THE HABIT OF BADMOUTHING HER EXES

We’re starting to have our doubts about Halle Berry. It seems that she’s in the habit of trashing every man she’s been with. She implied physical abuse from her husband David Justice and asked for a restraining order. (Justice later said “I always felt like I was walking on eggshells around her. Everything I did was wrong.”) Her second husband Eric Benet was branded a “sex addict.” She also accused an unnamed actor/boyfriend of physical abuse to the extent that he broke her eardrum. Everyone assumed she meant Wesley Snipes. Then there was the Chicago dentist, an exboyfriend who sued her for $80,000 he lent her while she was a struggling young actress- he claimed he paid for breast implants, etc. Breaking up with Halle can be very dangerous. Gabriel Aubry is already being accused of using the n-word with her. We’ll believe it when she proves it with an email or tape. Meanwhile, Olivier Martinez must be shaking in his motorcycle boots.

HALLE BERRY’S JEALOUS RAGE OVER KIM KARDASHIAN DATING GABRIEL AUBRY

Who knew that Kim Kardashian could throw Halle Berry into such a jealous fury? Because of Kim, Halle and Gabriel Aubry are headed for a nasty court battle over custody of their daughter Nahla. It all started LONG after Halle hooked up with Olivier Martinez, and seemed quite content. She and Gabriel were sharing time with Nahla. Gabriel made the mistake of having a few dates with Kim K and when Halle found out, she FREAKED. She gave him an ultimatum to “choose between dating Kim and seeing Nahla” and threatened to keep him away from his daughter. He didn’t see Kim again, but when Aubry realized Halle was using their daughter as a means to control him, he started legal proceedings to clarify his custody rights. According to RadarOnline, Aubry has some nasty voicemails and emails from her that reveal how manipulative and controlling Halle is, just in case he needs them. This is shaping up to be a very revealing court battle.

ARETHA WANTS HALLE BERRY TO STAR IN HER LIFE STORY, BUT WILL IT HAPPEN?

When Aretha Franklin speaks out she says some interesting things – we’re just not sure what to believe. She refused to reveal why she had those mysterious surgeries in December, and word leaked out from somewhere that she had pancreatic cancer. Recently Aretha announced that she certainly did NOT have pancreatic cancer but still refused to talk about her surgeries. This week she informed Wendy Williams that after a four year struggle, a movie is finally being made about her life and Halle Berry will star, with Denzel Washington playing her father, and Terrence Howard playing Smokey Robinson. It sounds like an all-star dream cast, but is it just a dream? We hope not.

AT LEAST OLIVIER MARTINEZ CAN LAUGH AT HIMSELF

At 7:30 AM Sunday morning Olivier Martinez was seen alone at the Susina bakery on Beverly Boulevard drinking coffee and eating a croissant. The French hunk – and current boyfriend of Halle Berry – was wearing a t shirt and jeans but since rain was in the forecast he was driving his Aston Martin instead of his motorcycle. A woman at the next table observed Olivier and teased him a bit saying “I didn’t know French people dipped their croissants into coffee like Americans dunk donuts!” Olivier laughed and he was friendly and chatted with several strangers. No sign of Halle.
