Dancing With The Stars finalist William Levy might really NEED to win that Mirror Ball trophy because it comes with a bundle of money. While the Cuban hunk was dancing on the show, his condo in Florida went up for foreclosure and is set to be auctioned off next month. His home is located in Doral, Fla, around 30 minutes outside Miami. It seems Levy has not been paying his homeowner’s dues so they are taking action.

Every new season of “Dancing With The Stars” seems to bring Derek Hough a new girlfriend and he creates plenty of buzz for the show. Derek and his dance partner, Extra TV host Maria Menounos, partied in Las Vegas this weekend at a Bud Light Lime-a-Rita Cinco de Mayo event. As cozy as they seemed, Derek is rumored to be dating another contestant – Katherine Jenkins – and Maria has had a boyfriend for ten years.

Rob Kardashian managed to keep his love interest a secret throughout the Dancing With The Stars competition according to the NY Post. During those months of rehearsal, Rob, 24, didn’t get to see his girlfriend Rita Ora, 21, very often, but it didn’t impair their romance. She’s Yugoslavian born and grew up in London where she is a budding pop star. She is signed to Jay-Z’s record label Roc Nation and her musical future is bright. Rob’s successful turn as a runner-up on DWTS has brought him favorable publicity and opportunities in MANY ways. He’s probably the most popular Kardashian these days.
One last thought about last night’s Dancing With The Stars: Ricki Lake was ROBBED. We were afraid that the Kardashians’ combined 24 million Twitter followers would make sure that Rob won no matter what. Luckily, JR Martinez, who seemed to be the choice of most Americans, actually DID win. If Rob had won he would always have had that black cloud of “cheating” hanging over him. Sure, he became a good dancer (and he has a great smile,) but Ricki Lake was far better. SHE’S the one who fell victim to Rob’s family packing the ballot box. She’ll have to console herself with that.
Is temperamental “Dancing with the Stars” pro Maks Chmerkovskiy’s bad behavior on the show cementing his return next season, or likely to get him voted off for good? Maks (“This is MY show”) and his partner Hope Solo, who placed last on Monday, have battled with each other, but his televised clashes with judges Len Goodman and Carrie Ann Inaba are what everybody’s talking about. Sore loser Maks insulted Len by suggesting its time for him to retire and when Carrie Ann noticed him smirking during her critique, he reacted badly and later in an interview said “F— Carrie Ann.” Maks’ ego, chest baring, and hostility have kept the show lively, and viewers seem to eat it up. It will be interesting to see how he does Tuesday night and IF he returns next season. Maybe it IS his show.
No WONDER Rob Kardashian is still on “Dancing With The Stars” and doesn’t seem too worried about being eliminated. Our friend Spicey at Celebrity Smack revealed that his family is SCHEMING to get him votes. Last night Kim Kardashian tweeted “OMG I have Justin Bieber’s phone number!!! Call him now 800 868 3402.” THAT happens to be the DWTS number that viewers dial to vote for Rob Kardashian and his partner! We wonder how many Bieber fans fell for THAT one….
Kristin Cavallari was dead right when she said that “Dancing With The Stars is clearly not a dance competition.” It’s a popularity contest judged not by the dance experts but by fans and producers hungry for ratings. We didn’t realize that contestants are given money bonuses when they bring their famous friends to sit in the audience. Producers want the VIP audience section packed with celebrities, and dancers like David Arquette get bonuses when they produce celebs like Courteney Cox. Chaz Bono has been dubbed “this season’s Bristol Palin” – not a good dancer, but an audience favorite. AND he might get a big bonus for producing Cher. THAT’S what makes producers happy.
Chaz Bono pulled out a real trump card in a last ditch effort to stay on “Dancing With The Stars.” He announced that his iconic mother Cher will be in the audience next week if he’s not eliminated tonight. (Producers have been HOUNDING HIM to bring Cher.) Chaz’s awkward dance got him the lowest score this week so his odds are not good. Only an army of Cher fans voting for him can save Chaz now. Unfortunately, Chaz is probably the heaviest contestant the show has ever had, and it’s a huge drawback on the dancefloor.

Kim and her sister Kourtney flew to Los Angeles to watch their brother Rob compete on “Dancing With The Stars” and the minute the show ended they left for the airport and returned to New York.
