Former President Barack Obama wants his daughter Malia to get hypnotized. The 25-year-old former First Daughter was photographed smoking a cigarette while running errands in Los Angeles, and her father wasn’t happy. Barack struggled for years with his addiction to cigarettes and finally kicked the habit, thanks to a pricey hypnotist recommended by none other than Oprah Winfrey. According to our source, Barack offered to shell out the $25,000 if Malia agrees to get hypnotized to stop smoking, but she has not taken her father up on the offer…yet

Simon Cowell admits he is “terrified” of catching coronavirus. He’s been wearing masks every time he leaves the house for WEEKS, and he’s popping vitamins right and left. Why so panicky? Simon is not only 60, but he’s in the habit of smoking 80 cigarettes a day. When Gabrielle Union was fired from AGT, she threatened to sue Simon for “endangering her life” with his illegal smoking on the set. STEPHEN DORFF CAN’T SHAKE THE LUST FOR CIGARETTES

Look who’s walking out of Barneys in Beverly Hills- it’s Stephen Dorff, and he’s not exactly a regular shopper there. Fashion isn’t his thing – in fact we rarely see him in anything but white t-shirt and jeans. We’re betting he bought a nice gift for somebody. Dorff, 44, has been a slave to cigarettes for years – he chainsmoked two packs a day and admits he “smelled like an ashtray.” Not only did he do ads for electronic cigarettes, but last we heard, he still smokes the real thing. It was reported a few years ago that he was diagnosed with emphysema – not sure what happened with that.

We can practically read Ben Affleck’s mind as he was walking out of the Chateau Marmont after the SAG awards with his wife Jennifer Garner. He couldn’t WAIT to light up a smoke and take a huge puff, but was not happy to walk into a nest of paparazzi. He knows Jennifer dislikes his nasty habit – he was a chain-smoker for 20 years and quit a few years back. But he started again when he filmed Argo. When he saw he was being photographed above, he ditched the cigarette and also became a litterer!

Simon Cowell never likes to be more than a few feet from a cigarette because he’s a chain smoker and inhales three packs a day. (To make up for it he stocks up on vitamin supplements and skin creams at Whole Foods.) So it makes sense that when he went to Ralph Lauren and found a small decorative silver plated cigarette holder he liked, that he bought 100 of them. He has several huge houses and each room has a cigarette holder in every corner.
