When it comes to athleticism, Tom has an attitude of “anything you can do, I can do better!” and now he’s determined to earn a black belt in the marital art. Since Tom and Gisele’s kids are also studying under Joaquim, Tom’s explaining that it made sense for him to take up the sport, but a friend says his secret motivation is to become better than Joaquim.

Julia is trying to secure the rights to Barbara’s life story and hopes to play her from the years 1964 when Barbara was hired as a “Today girl” on The Today Show, until her death in 2022 at the age of 93. Her 1991 interview with Barbara cemented Julia as a major movie star and throughout the decades Julia sat down for chats with Barbara many times. Julia had a soft spot in her heart for Barbara’s achievements in a male-dominated industry, and she was truly in awe of her, so she’s gunning hard to land the rights to her story so she can both star and produce it.

Barbarella Exploitative Sydney Sweeney The White Lotus

JANE FONDA WOULD LIKE TO FORGET ABOUT BARBARELLA

White Lotus star Sydney Sweeney is finagling to get a one-on-one with Jane Fonda because she has been cast in Jane’s iconic role in the remake of Barbarella. Jane has publicly voiced her concern, telling The Hollywood Reporter that she “tried not to think about,” the new movie. Looking back, Jane realizes how exploitative and anti-feminist the film really was, and she’s probably embarrassed. When Sydney landed the role she paid tribute to Jane by posting the above image of her to her Instagram account, but now Sydney yearns for Jane’s stamp of approval before filming starts. An insider says Sydney is leaning into any mutual connection to arrange a meeting. Ideally she would LOVE Jane to make a cameo in the film, but at the very least wants her blessing and input before production starts.

Turns out Rihanna is having super problems getting a sidekick for her Super Bowl performance. As is custom in halftime performances, the main act usually shares the stage with other performers who they’ve worked with in the past. When she first signed on, Rihanna was planning to do her song, Four Five Seconds with her originals collaborators Paul McCartney and Kanye West, but that was before Kayne went cuckoo and started praising Hitler. Producers made it clear Kayne is persona non grata, so she’s scrambling to replace him. Of course, she can console herself with the fact that her performance will be ideal to promote her Fenty clothing collection, and sales are expected to zoooom…

The folks at FOX reason much of America is sick of the woke culture and that two consenting adults shouldn’t lose their careers over a workplace romance. “Amy and T.J. could be the dream team for FOX,” the insider says. “They’re an intelligent, attractive, interracial couple who are the poster children against woke extremism.”

The working script has Sarah’s character, Carrie Bradshaw, volunteer at the charity and clash with Bette.
