Betty White Biopic Sandra Bullock

BETTY WHITE’S MANY LOVES

A year after her death at 99, Betty White’s colorful and iconic life story is being developed into a movie, and her good friend Sandra Bullock is hoping to produce it. Sandra and Betty hit it off while costarring in The Proposal in 2009, and they stayed close until Betty’s passing in 2021. According to an insider, Sandra wants to honor her friend with a life story about Betty’s many loves, (including animals) but also capture some of her struggles and secrets that aren’t commonly known. Sandra has major pull at Netflix since starring in their huge hit, Bird Box, so it’s likely her biopic winds up on the streaming service.

They’ve never been more than friends, but CNN New Year’s Eve hosts Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen are taking their relationship to the next level – executors of each others wills! They’re both in their mid-fifties and are dads to young children, so they want to make sure their kids are protected if something were to happen. They’ve always been close, but since becoming fathers they’ve really bonded. They recently met with their attorneys to make it legal.

WHAT SYLVESTER STALLONE DID TO WIN HIS WIFE BACK

 

Jennifer Flavin played hardball before she agreed to reconcile with her estranged husband Sylvester Stallone. He had to agree to a number of changes in their relationship, and one change was particularly interesting. Sly is 22 years older than his model wife so in addition to working out and cosmetic procedures, he dyed his hair shoe polish black for years to look younger. According to a friend of the couple, Jennifer insisted that Sly STOP dying his hair because she thought it looked fake and unflattering. Sly agreed and now he’s sporting a full head of gray hair!

Where’s Stedman? Some of Oprah’s friends are wondering where her longtime partner Stedman Graham has been since he hasn’t been spending as much time in Montecito where he usually lives with Oprah. After a string of short-lived romances with men, Rebel Wilson seems to have found “the one” with her girlfriend, jewelry designer Ramona Agruma – and she has the extra pounds to show for it. The “unlucky in love” diet served Rebel well, but now that she’s more comfortable in her sexuality she relaxed a bit on her calorie counting. Rebel lost nearly 75 pounds prior to dating Ramona but now that she’s madly in love, as well as a new mom, she’s indulging in foods she previously steered clear of. A friend says that pasta and bread are Rebel’s weaknesses…

Medical Drama Sharon Osbourne

SHARON OSBOURNE HAD A CLOSE CALL

Much fuss was made when Sharon Osbourne suffered a medical emergency and was rushed to the hospital while filming a TV show recently, but there was no explanation afterward. A few days later she posted online that she was “back home and feeling great.” Her son Jack remarked that his mom would share what happened when she was ready to talk about it. So far she hasn’t, but we hear that she suddenly lost consciousness on the set and when she came to, she was disoriented and had difficulty speaking. Docs feared she had a stroke, but luckily it wasn’t. After a battery of tests she was diagnosed with potential low blood sugar and exhaustion. (A lot of people seem to have that lately) After she went home, Sharon sent the hospital staff a huge basket of holiday goodies as a thank you.

Mackenzie Phillips One Day at a Time Reboot Valerie Bertinelli

“ONE DAY AT A TIME” IS COMING BACK …AGAIN?

An updated version of the popular 70’s sitcom One Day at a Time just MIGHT be coming back as Another day at a Time. The series was considered groundbreaking for the era – featuring a single working mom with two daughters, covering topics like divorce and premarital sex. Netflix retooled the series in 2017, keeping the title, but not much else – it only lasted a few seasons. (Costars Bonnie Franklin and Pat Harrington have passed on.) This time the plan is to bring back “sisters” Mackenzie Phillips and Valerie Bertinelli as senior citizens who move in together when their husbands pass away and kids move out. Hmmm… now it reminds us of The Golden Girls …
