The lucky guy is Dr Robert Gerner, an established pharmacologist who is described as very talented, but also fast and loose with his prescription pad. According to his mentally troubled patients, he charges $185 in cash for quick twenty minute sessions and sends them home with a fistful of prescriptions. Adderall and sleeping pills are a common combination. Interesting historical fact: Gerner was one of the docs investigated in the overdose death of Jerry Bruckheimer’s former partner, producer Don Simpson, who perished with 21 drugs in his system in 1996. Janice says it was love at first sight for her and Gerner. We wonder what being married to Janice will do for his career.

(sigh) I’ve LOVED you for so many, many years but recently I’ve been a bit thrown by your website. Your postings have changed a bit. Dr. Robert Gerner is a very well respected doctor in Los Angeles. He is not “fast” or “loose” with his prescription pad. He’s very well studied, evaluates people on what they need and cares deeply for his patients. I will not sit here and have you write otherwise. It’s so bizarre and it’s such incorrect information. I personally know three people who he has helped a great deal. Now, his choice in a mate is a bit questionable but you know what? Everyone deserves to be happy. And this man does a lot of good. That is a TYPICAL charge for a doctor of his caliber, in fact he did not raise his rates for years – furthermore you obviously have no clue what you’re talking about you don’t see a doctor like him for an hour – they are usually 20-30 min sessions. I just will not sit here and have you say that guy runs “fast and loose with his prescription pad. That is a 100% mischaracterization and frankly it is so grossly inaccurate it’s slander. I’m not a doctor and I don’t even know him personally. But I have witnessed him with one of my close friends and followed others I care about progress with him. I have ever right mind to forward this along to his office – this is truly a terrible post on your part. This man is NOT a public figure. She is – he is not. But then, you love posting about people that are “related” to public figures nowadays, don’t you Janiet? Including posting pictures of young kids with their well known parents. So classy. What is your deal these days? Can you get back to just posting about the celebs and their going ons? And guess what? Most doctors are investigated when their patients are taking something and they pass away etc. You really should re configure this post and you won’t. So negative. This man has done a lot of good and you just — well it’s just negative Janet. Lame.
