Being forced to admit you are not pregnant, just chubby, is not easy for a celebrity. This photo is likely to inspire Jessica to try and regain her once sensational figure.

They’ve only been dating for a few months, but Dancing with the Stars’ Mark Ballas and American Idol contestant Pia Toscano’s night out with Kim Kardashian has fueled a startling rumor. The happy group dined at Katsuya and Mark walked out carrying a bottle of champagne that Kim gave him and Pia was sporting a sparkling ring on her finger. Does that add up to an engagement? Most of Mel B’s friends, plus her own mother, are hoping that rumors about Mel and her husband Stephen “Belafonte” splitting up are TRUE! Since Melanie married her con man over two years ago, her friends have been praying she’d come to her senses. After all, it turned out Stephen has criminal records in San Diego, New Jersey, and Los Angeles – – mostly for assault and battery on wives and girlfriends, with a few credit card and eviction problems thrown in. He tried to pass himself off as Harry Belafonte’s son, but his real last name is Stansbury. Not only that, but he cheats and chases other women every time Mel turns her back. Unfortunately, Mel is addicted to his hot lovin’ so she’s been blind to his defects. The couple was out the other night, but refused to talk about their relationship.
Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem make a gorgeous couple in Cannes. Last year Penelope had to miss Cannes festivities and the premier of her movie “Nine” because she had food poisoning. In Touch magazine announced that her “food poisoning “ was actually morning sickness and she was pregnant with Javier’s baby. Apparently, they were wrong.
We‘ve been picturing Today Show host Matt Lauer tomcatting all over Cannes since the Enquirer announced he split and moved out on his wife two months ago. But maybe not. Matt’s mother in law in the Netherlands told the magazine about the split but didn’t say what caused it. Another source insisted Matt was caught cheating while covering the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. It all sounds plausible, but Matt insists the story is 100% WRONG and he has never moved out of their apartment. Time will tell, and Matt’s bosses at NBC hope he keeps his marriage intact to maintain his image with female viewers.
We figured out how that rumor about Elizabeth Taylor being “engaged” to manager Jason Winters got started. A couple of years ago Liz and Jason were thick as thieves – she adored him and often used his house in Hawaii. A year or so ago she flew with her entourage to stay at his house and Jason asked her NOT to drink while she was there. That made her very angry and Liz chartered a flight home that same day and she refused to speak to Jason for many months. Recently they repaired their relationship, and they’re best friends again. Jason manages Kathy Ireland (You DO remember Liz defending Kathy’s awkward interviews at the Oscars on twitter) Keep in mind, Jason isn’t exactly available – he already has a longtime companion – his business partner.
ANOTHER reason to doubt those Brad and Angelina splitting up stories. The UK’s Daily Mail has been trumpeting that Brad quietly bought a “bachelor pad” in LA where he can live in peace without Angelina and the kids. (As if they don’t already have ENOUGH houses!) The fact is, Brad bought another of the houses surrounding his compound in the Hollywood Hills that he has owned for years. He’s been buying up the neighbors’ homes one by one when they go up for sale and now has several private acres. The most recent addition is a run-down 1920’s bungalow in need of a lot of work.
