JOEY KING : HAIRDO OR HAIR DON’T?

It’s not often that you see something you have NEVER SEEN BEFORE, so we were quite fascinated by Joey King’s hairstyle. She’s busy promoting Bullet Train with her costar Brad Pitt in London and this was her look last night for the premier. We kind of like the dark fingerwaves up front – Zendaya has been sporting those also, and she looks adorable. But the brown mullet in the back is puzzling. Can anyone out there explain this look? (Did Joey run out of the hair salon before she was finished?)

ZAYN MALIK: LETTING HIMSELF GO?

We happen to think Zayn Malik was drop-dead gorgeous when he was in One Direction– but since he unceremoniously quit, he hasn’t seen any of his former band members – or his barber either! He’s been living as a recluse on that Pennsylvania farm with his almost two year old daughter Khai since he and Gigi Hadid split in Oct 2021. Zayn and Gigi share custody. We used to see Gigi pushing Khai in her stroller around NYC, but she’s been invisible since the split. The parents must have a “no publicity for the baby” agreement so Khai is a recluse like her dad. Meanwhile, Zayn has been growing out his hair (from a shaved head) and he wears it in the style of a surfer (or a homeless person, depending on who’s looking) and now he’s selling sweatshirts and t-shirts to fans with his “art” on them called Paynt by Zayn. You can buy the hoody he’s wearing for $70.

LOOK AGAIN, IT’S CHARLIZE THERON

Like Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe, SOME actresses are very closely associated to their hair color, and it doesn’t change throughout their careers. It’s a bit of a jolt to see Charlize Theron with black hair – although she’s equally beautiful, she does seem like another person. The dark hair is for her character in The Old Guard 2 which is currently filming. Many consider Mad Max: Fury Road to be Charlize’s best film performance since Monster. She played an action hero (with a buzz-cut) and feuded with her costar Tom Hardy. Since then she has been producing her own successful action movies without the blonde hair. Above, she hosted a fundraiser for her Africa Outreach charity project.

HALLE BERRY’S NEW HAIRCUT IS A WINNER

All of a sudden Halle Berry is in Hyde Park in London filming Our man From Jersey with Mark Wahlberg. The film is described as a big budget action thriller for Netflix. Apparently Mark came up with the story and had it written for himself. That makes us wonder if Halle has a very significant role. Netflix happens to be very fond of both Mark and Halle. The plot is a big secret but it’s described vaguely as a “blue collar James Bond.” Halle’s hair looks pretty terrific so surely she’ll steal some scenes from Mark…

Baseball Cap Blac Chyna Hair! Rita Ora Rob Kardashian Weight

ROB KARDASHIAN HASN’T TAKEN THAT BASEBALL CAP OFF SINCE 2013

Strange but true. Try to find a photo of Rob Kardashian without the cap for the past nine years. It’s sad, but this Kardashian guy has been “hiding out” since then. Back in 2012 he had a short but memorable romance with Rita Ora and she broke his heart. That’s when he started eating too much. In 2016, he started dating Blac Chyna- at one point she claimed Rob spend $100,000 on weight loss surgery that seemed to be working, but then didn’t. Meanwhile the hat never came off- apparently his hair was thinning. He might be getting hair transplants of some kind, but he just NEVER removes the cap. Maybe that’s why he hasn’t shown up in court this week…he would be asked to remove it.

PINK HAIR WORKS FOR MACHINE GUN KELLY

His hair is obviously important to Machine Gun Kelly so we hope he avoids catching Covid and losing some of it. He revealed his new look – pink hair -at a performance with Avril Lavigne at The Roxy this week and some of his fans were not thrilled. One fan griped “You aren’t Machine Gun Kelly any more!” Kelly HAS been wearing a lot more pink and even performed with a pink guitar. Some fans don’t like the fact that he seems to have gone from rapper to punk rocker since he took up with Megan Fox. We’re not sure where the manicures and pinky rings fit in…

Court Glitter Hair! Kesha

KESHA IS READY TO TESTIFY

The Hollywood premier of the Foo Fighters movie Studio 666 (described as a “supernatural horror comedy,”) attracted the music crowd- among them was the unrecognizable Kesha. We haven’t seen much of Kesha lately- she had to cancel her 2020 tour because of Covid and has been keeping busy in court fighting music producer Dr Luke. Remember, she accused him of raping her and he insisted it was a lie because she wanted out of her contract. Since 2014, they’ve been going back and forth with lawsuits and Dr Luke still has a defamation and breach of contract lawsuit against her. During that time in court Kesha refined her look – to put it mildly – no more long blonde wild hair and gone is the glitter makeup and distressed clothing. All this to impress the judge?

LISA RINNA: NEW HAIR, SAME LIPS

Lisa Rinna showed up on the set of RHOBH yesterday and startled her costars with a whole new look. It’s only hair, but Lisa and has had the same highlighted choppy haircut for at least the last 20 years and it’s her signature look -so this long blonde wig was a jolt. It’s actually very flattering, and we think Lisa bears a striking resemblance to Charlie Sheen’s ex-girlfriend Denise Richards.

Accident Electric Bike Hair! Helmet Macho Simon Cowell

SIMON COWELL: MORE MISPLACED MACHISMO

We ran across this 1980’s photo of Simon Cowell with Farrah Fawcett feathered hair, flexing his biceps with his then-girlfriend, singer Sinitta. There’s no doubt that he enjoys his own masculinity, and while his hair has gotten shorter, he still has the same style and attitude. That includes his e-bike riding. He didn’t learn a lesson the first time he lost control of his electric bike on wet pavement in Malibu and broke his back 18 months ago. No helmet. To his credit he continued riding – but STILL without a helmet and just had the same accident on a slick street in London. Onlookers had to stop traffic so he wouldn’t get run over. He ended up with a bloody face, possible concussion, and a broken arm.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA: TAKE YOUR PICK-PLATINUM BLONDE OR HOT REDHEAD?

Christina Aguilera was a hard-core glamour girl at the party for her new single Pa’Las Muchachas this weekend in LA. She’s got a new song – in Spanish- and a whole new look, with looong fiery red hair. She wore a snakeskin neck-to toe bodysuit under a full-length snakeskin coat. The song title translates to “for My Girls” and it seems to be feminist inspired – Christina was a big supporter of Britney Spears through her troubles. It’s odd that so far, Christina doesn’t have any concert dates to promote her new music. Question is: do you prefer Christina with her platinum blonde hair or the new red tresses?
