HOWARD STERN TO THE RESCUE!

We have to acknowledge Howard Stern for putting his experienced two cents into the Clive Davis-Kelly Clarkson feud. (As you know, Clive wrote some things in his new book that Kelly took exception to.) It’s apparent that Howard’s familiar with the ins and outs of the music business and especially the egotistical guys in managerial positions. Stern summed up the situation for his radio listeners:
“It sickens me when management guys like to set the record straight about how f—ing creative they are and what geniuses they are,” Stern said. “This guy is trying to diminish what she does? Doesn’t he have enough in life, can’t he tell his story without f—ing degrading her?”

GUTSY KELLY CLARKSON TO CLIVE DAVIS: NO MORE MR NICE GUY!

How refreshing it was to have Kelly Clarkson criticize and deny some of the recollections Clive Davis wrote about in his new book. Her outburst took courage because MEN rule in the world of music management and heaven help the woman who is not cooperative. We never thought about it, but Clive Davis was probably a tyrant just like the majority of music moguls and it’s likely that he too, treated women in that familiar and condescending manner. The Clive Davis party carried on at the Beverly Hilton Hotel ballroom Saturday while Whitney Houston’s death was being investigated upstairs. Kim Kardashian is obviously on the prowl for a new man because she wore a ridiculously low cut dress. (Why is she at this music event, anyway?) She stopped to chat with Britney Spears who looked rather plain next to Kim.

WHITNEY HOUSTON’S DAUGHTER BOBBI IS GROWING UP FAST

Whitney Houston and her 17 year old daughter Bobbi both look very together at Clive Davis’s pre-Grammy party in Beverly Hills. Whitney’s past problems are well documented, but recently internet photos of Bobbi appeared, showing her drinking, smoking, and making out with another girl, at a wild party. Having parents like Whitney and Bobby Brown cannot be easy.
