What’s a girl to do? Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney’s 32nd birthday is coming up on July 15 and his girlfriend Lady Gaga wracked her brain to come up with the perfect girt. Taylor is seldom seen without a backpack so Gaga bought her handsome beau the mother of all backpacks. It’s a $55,000 one of a kind crocodile backpack co- designed by the Olsen twins company, The Row, and decorated by artist Damian Hirst. They created a limited edition collection of only 12 of the pricey bags and each is a bit different. Proceeds go to the charity UNICEF. We don’t know exactly which bag Gaga chose for her man, but you can click HERE to see them all and take a guess.

Demi Moore is spending her 50th birthday in far-away places. Maybe she finally figured out there’s more to life than hanging out in Hollywood clubs with 20 year olds. She was one of the lucky celebrities invited to India for a lavish two day celebration thrown by Naomi Campbell for her billionaire boyfriend Vladimir Doronin, who also turned 50. Pampered guests arrived in chartered planes and stayed at a luxurious $1000 a night hotel. All the women were given custom designed fashions to wear to the decadent parties. Maybe turning 50 isn’t so bad, after all.

Just because Tom Cruise was a guest at Cameron Diaz’s 40th birthday party in London does NOT mean they are dating! The pair became friendly while filming “Knight and Day” in 2010, but Cameron is hardly a likely prospect for Tom’s next conquest. Granted, she IS very single and she IS taller than Tom, which he seems to prefer. But Cameron is too old for Tom – he needs a very young girl who is either a Scientologist or too young to realize what Scientology really IS. Cameron doesn’t need help with her career and she has plenty of money of her own. Friendship is all she wants from Tom. Birthday Brooke Mueller Charlie Sheen Denise Richards

HOW DID CHARLIE SHEEN AND HIS TWO EX-WIVES BECOME BEST FRIENDS?

It’s a little hard to digest the idea of Charlie Sheen’s second ex-wife Denise Richards throwing a 35th birthday party for his third ex-wife Brooke Mueller on Sunday. Brooke threw the party at her home, which she shares with her two children with Charlie (daughters Sam, 8, and Lola, 7,) and her adopted toddler Eloise. Brooke brought her three year old twins with Charlie, and of course Charlie was there for the festivities. This is certainly a family that is more than willing to forgive and forget. Charlie and Brooke’s legendary drug and alcohol problems seem to no longer be an issue. The whole inter-relationship is very civilized, but we have a feeling Charlie’s money has a LOT to do with it. Plus the fact that they all live in separate houses.

Overnight our opinion of LeAnn Rimes has changed. For some reason, we have been giving her he benefit of the doubt – despite the fact that Eddie Cibrian left his wife Brandi Glanville and children for her. Naively we blamed Eddie – LeAnn seemed young and sweet and totally in love. LeAnn’s penchant for parading around in bikinis was puzzling – she seemed desperate for attention and validation. This week she had a very character revealing moment when she tweeted a photo of the special cake she had made for Eddie’s 39th birthday. The theme of the cake was “Eddie’s Favorite Things” and it featured a likeness of Eddie and LeAnn in a bed on top with his two young sons lurking on the side of the cake. Oblivious to her lack of taste and common sense, LeAnn proudly shared her creation with the world, and instantly she became a whole lot less likeable…

David Beckham might not be the perfect husband at all times but he seems darn close to it. He is aware of his wife Victoria’s preferences and he indulges her the way she likes it. Victoria celebrated her 38th birthday and David arranged a birthday luncheon for family and friends at Matsuhisa. He had the place decorated with balloons and her favorite roses everywhere. Victoria really enjoyed the healthy low calorie sushi and David was smart enough NOT tempt her with a huge birthday cake. Instead she had a fresh fruit birthday dessert. JUST the way she likes it!

Beverly Hills Hotel Birthday Nostalgia Real Estate

THE BEVERLY HILLS HOTEL IS 100 YEARS OLD!

The legendary Beverly Hills Hotel was opened on May 12, 1912 and it immediately became a movie star magnet. Paul Williams was one of the original architects who worked on the lush property. Through the years just about every celebrity patronized the Fountain Coffee Shop and the Polo Lounge. The pool area, with its private cabanas, was used for weddings, power lunches, and film locations. When the Beatles came to town the pool was opened at night so they could have a private swim. In the late 80’s the Sultan of Brunei bought the hotel and everyone was afraid he would update the beloved decor. Happily, he renovated in a tasteful way that maintained the original spirit of the glamorous hotel. We’re glad it’s still around.

WHAT DO JENNIFER ANISTON AND GWYNETH PALTROW HAVE IN COMMON- BESIDES BRAD PITT?

Last month Justin Theroux threw a birthday party for Jennifer Aniston on the roof of the Chateau Marmont hotel and there was one unreported guest who slipped in unnoticed: Gwyneth Paltrow. Who knew that she and Jennifer were friends? It’s quite interesting because Gwyneth was once engaged to Brad and they ended up splitting up. (She was accused of cheating) Anyway, we’re thinking Brad must have bored her and Brad has admitted that he was rather dull and sluggish while married to Jen and that’s why SHE wanted out. So it makes sense that years after the fact, Jen and Gwyneth might be friends. It’s likely that their mutual pal Chelsea Handler introduced them. We would LOVE to hear them compare notes on Brad. Of course, neither has ever said anything bad about him.

In case you wondered how vacuous Kris Jenner was back in 1985 when she was actually a Kardashian, get a load of this vanity video. Kris Kardashian was happily married to Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney’s indulgent father Robert back then, and he produced this video dedicated to Kris’s dear friends, for her 30th birthday. Many of her friends – even employees at restaurants and shops she liked, participated. She showed it at her birthday party. Among her “friends” you’ll see OJ Simpson and Nicole. It’s a bit like a whirlwind tour of Beverly Hills back in the 80’s….
