Yes, she happens to be a neighbor of ours, but we are on opposite sides of the fence on this issue. Judging from the overwhelming response to this item, people are EXTREMELY passionate about the Michael J. Fox TV ad supporting research. It seems there are at LEAST ten times as many people in FAVOR of research as against it. And they are EAGER to boycott! Oh and did you know they have Harris Ranch meats in their meat section? Harris Ranch meat is organic, and Whole Foods uses them.

More research is being done with adult stem cells than embryonic. I was just at an Albertston’s in Santa Monica and it was busy. I told the check out gal about the idiotic boycott that Janet is calling for. First off, the woman laughed and said the store has been very busy and that she has never heard of Janet. I laughed too, telling her that this website is a small one and not many people visit it. She also told me that there are always groups that call for boycotts for one strange reason or another and none of them has ever hurt them.
Albertson’s is a great store with very friendly and helpful employees. I’ll continue to shop there as I can’t take Janet’s idiocy seriously. She’s an airhead.
