Despite a few bumps in the road, Gwen Stefani’s marriage to Gavin Rossdale still seems almost ideal. The National Enquirer reported that she had a miscarriage a few months ago and she was hoping for a little girl. Judging by all their happy family outings, another child would have a great life. If Gwen doesn’t give birth, maybe the Rossdales will adopt. Above, the family plays in a Beverly Hills park and they take a look at puppies up for adoption.

We can’t just let this slide. When mothers of the children in this photo take a close look at the picture they are NOT going to be happy. Rihanna is being very sweet with the kids but she’s wearing a surprisingly tasteless necklace that says “F—YOU.” What possessed her?
Pee Wee Herman (Paul Reubens) came out of the backstage door at the Stephen Sondheim Theater on Broadway with a megaphone to thank all his fans for supporting him through good times and bad. “The Pee Wee Herman Show” opened to great reviews – the New York Times described Pee Wee as “a human exclamation point” and the show as “a bubble bath of nostalgia.” (We can picture the audience full of ageing hipsters and parents with children.) After a 20 year pause, the show has Pee Wee entering the world of computers. What could be more fun for the Christmas season?
Since Hilary Swank rarely plays a pretty girl in her movies, many people assume she’s short-changed in the looks department. The “Conviction” star is very plausible playing “average” women – maybe that’s why her characters are so believable. But she’s not really all that “average” as you can see by these rare lingerie pin-ups of Hilary.

It’s funny that two of the men least likely to go to the gym are wearing track suits in New York. (Are track suits to the 2000’s what polyester leisure suits were to the 1970’s?) Casually clad Snoop Dogg ran into equally casual Russell Crowe outside the Letterman show – he’s promoting his new album Doggumentary Music. Snoop’s black socks and slides are especially amusing. Whether either of them appeared on the show dressed like this is not known.
Audrina Patridge may have been distracted because she’s still trying to live down her mother’s tirade after Audrina was cut from “Dancing With the Stars.” That might explain why she’s wearing plastic booties over her suede boots – the kind that doctors and house painters wear. (Maybe she’s planning to return the boots and wants to keep them clean.) Anyway, this is how she looked walking around Beverly Hills.

Scott Disick is jumping on the Kardashian endorsement locomotive and he’s already established himself as spokesperson for a product called Amidren High T which claims to “enhance male performance “ in the bedroom AND the gym – aimed at guys 20 to 40. Kourtney Kardashian’s dandyish baby-daddy also fancies himself a fashion expert and is working on a men’s clothing and accessory line for 2011. He’s not above rummaging for bargains – Scott was seen with several Century 21 shopping bags.

Mickey Rourke had some unusual room service during his recent stay at The Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. He had a technician bring his equipment and transplant hair plugs on his scalp in the privacy of his own room. Maybe he doesn’t want his young Russian girlfriend back in New York to know about it.
Lock up your teenagers. Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian are pushing to get teens to talk their parents into buying them prepaid Mastercards with the sisters photos on them – all for the ridiculous price of $99.95 a year. (Never mind that similar cards WITHOUT the sisters mugs can be had for $29.95 or less.) The Kardashians reason that these cards will help teens learn about money. And who knows more about money than Kim, who pays $30,000 for a handbag! Ironically, Brandy Norwood’s mother sued the Kardashian sisters in 2008 for abusing her credit card to the tune of $120,000. So they DO know a lot about spending other people’s money!
We were surprised to learn that Angelina Jolie incorporates function and logic into her fashion choices. Angie told Vogue that Brad and the kids tease her because she almost always wears black. She defends herself saying, “It’s utilitarian – it’s practical. Every shirt and jacket goes with every skirt or pants. Every dress goes with every shoe.” She added “And I have a tiny closet.” THERE’S a jolt. Perhaps the most famous and beautiful actress in the world, with multiple mansions, HAS A TINY CLOSET! She seems to be the opposite of the majority of celebrities like Mariah Carey who displayed their humongous closets on Cribs.
