KATE HUDSON HASN’T CHANGED HER MIND ABOUT GETTING MARRIED

Kate Hudson, 32, got engaged to her boyfriend Matthew Bellamy, 32, in April and they planned to set a date after their baby was born. Their little boy Bingham was born in July, followed by dead silence about the wedding. Still no date has been mentioned causing people to wonder if they changed their minds. It looks like Kate IS planning a wedding later this year in the UK because she consulted designer Stella McCartney about a wedding dress. She wants a unique gown with a Bohemian feel, but it won’t be white – she definitely wants a color. Kate wants her second wedding to be different, but just as fabulous as her first.

LINDA EVANS IS STARTING TO LOOK LIKE CANDY SPELLING

“Dynasty” star Linda Evans is pictured here at The Grove doing an interview with Mario Lopez. She’s promoting her autobiography “Recipes for Life: My Memories” and we’re betting most of her memories are nice. Linda has a reputation as a sweetheart in Hollywood. When she was on “Dynasty” she couldn’t go many places without being mobbed by fans and she stopped to sign EVERY autograph and greet EVERY fan so it took her forever to go anywhere. We didn’t realize her first husband John Derek pushed her to pose nude for Playboy and she wasn’t happy about it. He later left her for 30 years younger Bo Derek.

HOW BRILLIANT IS VH1 TO GIVE WESTON CAGE A REALITY SHOW?

HERE’S a reality show we won’t miss. Nicolas Cage’s ex Christina Fulton and their son Weston Cage have agreed to film a series for VH1, Weston has had nothing but problems for the past year – he was involved in a street fight that went viral, he was arrested for domestic violence twice, and he and his wife both landed in rehab. He’s in a black metal band called “Eyes of Noctum.” Christina, who is NOT fond of Weston’s father Nicolas Cage, compared their show to “a modern day Addams family.” We wonder if Weston, 20, will be moving back in with his mother – and what about his wife? Weston wants to convince us that he’s NOT crazy and having a reality show might prove it – one way or the other. We bet Nicolas will keep his distance from all this.

MADONNA’S “W.E.” IS VISUALLY APPEALING , BUT IS THAT ALL THERE IS?

Madonna’s movie with the annoying title “W.E,” is set to be released in December and we have mixed feelings about it. One reviewer who saw it have compared it to “a woman’s luxury shopping spree.” The spoiled wealthy character of Wallis Simpson has 80 costume changes – originally created by the top designers of the 1930’s and 40’s. That DOES sound appealing. The costume designer is Madonna’s old friend, the brilliant Arianne Phillips, so we won’t miss it for that reason. But the dialog and story apparently don’t live up to the lush visuals. The trailer (above) is iffy.

ELLEN DEGENERES FOR GOVERNOR? IT COULD HAPPEN!

Ellen DeGeneres is thinking about following in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s footsteps – straight into the Governor’s mansion. Openly gay Ellen has been examining her life and successful career and wants to enter politics in the future. She’s in her fifties now and wants to make an impact on the world beyond her talk show. She’s one of the most successful talk show hosts of all time and has a huge following, which can’t hurt when she runs for office. But it won’t happen too soon – she probably won’t throw her hat into the ring until 2018.

KIRSTIE ALLEY IS WITH ANOTHER YOUNG GUY IN PARIS

How she does it, we don’t know, but Kirstie Alley 60, is in Paris hanging out with dancer Serge Onik, 23. He was a contestant on “So You Think You Can Dance.” Besides dancing, the pair was seen at a cemetery bringing flowers to Jim Morrison’s grave. They’ve also been sending out highly complimentary tweets about each other.

KABBALAH CELEBRITIES: TO THINK SANDRA BERNHARD STARTED IT ALL

The IRS is deep in their investigation of the Kabbalah Center, which calls itself a non-profit organization and doesn’t file a tax return. The investigation started when the cult’s chief financial officer uncovered income tax fraud. Millions of dollars in donations have been made and where the money went is the big question. We didn’t realize that Sandra Bernhard was the first celebrity to get involved in Kabbalah and she pulled in many famous friends like Roseanne Barr and Madonna. Other celebrities attracted to Kabbalah include Elizabeth Taylor, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Gentiles Paris Hilton Britney Spears, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore. Celebrities accelerated Kabbalah’s financial growth. None of the celebrities remaining in the fold have commented on the IRS scandal. Madonna remains loyal even though the Malawi orphanage she planned with Kabbalah leaders never came to fruition and the money disappeared. We just hope this IRS investigation leads to the taxation of wealthy groups like Kabbalah or Scientology – or even better, ALL religions.

NEW FAD IN L.A: HIGH HEELS FOR MEN

Brace yourself. Those insanely high heels that make women feel powerful are starting to look good to men. Young men, anyway. In LA, fads like this start in gay clubs and may or may not go mainstream. Singers like Adam Lambert are likely to jump on the high heel bandwagon first. In the 70’s, rock stars like Mick Jagger and Rod Stewart didn’t hesitate to wear women’s clothes with platform shoes, but rockers today are more macho so it remains to be seen if Kanye West will experiment with heels.

“ALBERT NOBBS” IS NOT THE MAN HE APPEARS TO BE

The timing is right for a gender switching movie and Glenn Close, 64, (“Fatal Attraction”) looks surprisingly plausible playing a man in “Albert Nobbs.” The movie tells the story of an English woman who disguises herself as a man (Nobbs) to get a job as a butler in 19th century Ireland. The plot thickens when she is told she must share a bed with a visiting man who discovers her secret. There are many romantic and dramatic and amusing complications to follow.
