MOVE OVER PARIS HILTON, PETRA ECCLESTONE IS ON HER WAY

Paris Hilton has fallen another notch down the list of “it” girls in Hollywood. Kim Kardashian scooped up most of the lucrative personal appearance and spokesperson job offers that Paris used to get. Newcomer Petra Ecclestone, 23, looks like she will replace Paris as “girl most photographed” because Paris is so overexposed. Petra is of interest, first of all because she bought the biggest house in LA – Aaron Spelling’s mansion, and moved here from London. Besides being a billionaire’s daughter, she’s a model and designer and very easy on the eyes. Above, Petra is shopping at Intermix on Robertson.

DIAMONDS ARE NOT COURTNEY LOVE’S BEST FRIEND

Courtney Love is in New York wearing some unflattering reading glasses. She’s on the phone, probably trying to talk her way out of that jewelry lawsuit. Believe it or not, New York jeweler Jacob & Co lent her some pricey diamonds to wear to an event in September and SOMEHOW they got lost. (She claims she gave them to the staff at the Mercer Hotel to return for her.) Now she owes Jacob around $100,000 but we can’t figure out why anyone in their right mind would lend Courtney expensive jewelry. We’ve heard that it’s VERY difficult to collect when Courtney owes you money….

LIKE CRAZY: A REALISTIC AND SENSITIVE LOOK AT ROMANCE

For moviegoers who love romantic stories, “Like Crazy” is a movie you can sink your teeth into. No famous stars – Anton Yelchin and Felicity Jones play teens who fall in love with the incredible longing and passion that usually only happens once in a lifetime. Maybe the not-so-familiar actors make the whole story more real and identifiable. The story tracks the evolution of young romance over the years and all the changes and hurt feelings that are inevitable. It’s so REAL it will bring back the emotions you had during that special college relationship. Sometime it’s even painful to watch, but that’s how love is.

JOHNNY DEPP: A THREE PIECE SUIT AND NAIL POLISH TO MATCH

Johnny Depp got all dressed up for the premier of his movie “The Rum Diary” in New York. You don’t see Johnny, 48, in a three piece suit very often. That blue nail polish matching his shirt has all the indications of a fad alert. We’re thinking other men might pick up on this, so Chanel might be advised to introduce Depp Blue to their collection of nail colors.

FINALLY, DR PHIL DOES SOMETHING RIGHT

It’s no secret that we are not big fans of Dr Phil, but we like to see a TV show do something socially responsible. The Rebecca Zahau “suicide” case has had Californians outraged. If you recall, Rebecca’s wealthy boyfriend’s six year old son was killed in an accidental fall down the stairs while Rebecca was his caretaker. (He probably slid down the banister and fell on his head.) The multi-millionaire boyfriend, Jonah Shaknai, is a pharmaceuticals mogul. Days later Rebecca’ body was found hanging naked with a T shirt around her neck dangling from a balcony of the mansion. Her wrists and ankles were bound. The body was found by her boyfriend’s brother. Investigators ruled the death a suicide (!!!) but her family suspects murder. So do we. Dr Phil is apparently paying to have the body exhumed and retested for signs of foul play. We’re glad SOMEBODY is looking into this crime.

PARIS JACKSON IS A POWERHOUSE ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD

That’s Paris Jackson in the middle of that football maneuver and she seems to be enjoying every minute. Paris loves the sport and she’s the first girl ever to join her school’s football team. This is the second year that Paris and her brother Prince have attended a real school and they seem to be very happy after all those lonely years of home schooling.

RAY LIOTTA GAVE HIMSELF A MAKEOVER

Last summer Ray Liotta, 56, was at The Grove with his daughter, looking like just another chubby guy. But what a difference a few movies makes! Soon after that he started filming “The Place Beyond the Pines” with Ryan Gosling and he whipped himself right back into shape. Ray admits that only doing a movie gives him the incentive to work out. He showed up at a recent awards show looking like his old “Goodfellas” self.

Call him now 800 868 3402.” THAT happens to be the DWTS number that viewers dial to vote for Rob Kardashian and his partner! We wonder how many Bieber fans fell for THAT one….

SLAIN DICTATOR MUAMMAR GADDAFI WAS A FANCY MAN

We never realized that the late Muammar Gaddafi was considered something of a fashion icon in the Middle East. The dictator was a closet dandy! When his body was brought to the hospital they took a sample of his hair to confirm his identity and it turned out he was wearing a toupee! He had also turned to plastic surgery to keep himself looking youthful, and had his shoe heels built up to make himself taller. But his fashions trough the years are quite entertaining. THE BURNING QUESTION: WHY DON’T MARIAH’S BABIES LOOK LIKE NICK?

Ever since Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon introduced their adorable six month old twins Moroccan and Monroe to the world, there has been a lot of whispered speculation that the babies don’t look like Nick at all. They seem only to resemble Mariah and have fair skin. Was there a mistake during the fertilization process? Was the wrong test tube full of sperm used? Probably not. An expert told us that mixed race babies are often born with light skin that darkens as time passes. By the time they go to pre-school, the kids will probably look more like daddy. (Above the family is costumed as Disney’s “The Incredibles” at a charity event)
