Denise Richards and her estranged husband Aaron Phypers made the news when cops were called to his Calabasas, California home on Sunday after Denise showed up – reportedly to get her dogs. Here’s what we know. Denise is amping up the drama as she finagles to get back on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (she recently filmed an episode as a friend) and showing up at the house and calling the cops was NOT an unplanned incident. Insiders tell me that the fireworks are only BEGINNING as Denise parlays the drama into a full-time gig back on the popular Bravo reality show.
Brooke Hogan made the news when she skipped the memorial service for her late father, Hulk Hogan, and went on TMZ Live to discuss the reason why. We can tell you what she DIDN’T tell TMZ. She’s working on a tell-all book where she will reveal a plethora of family secrets including some that we hear will shock many of Hulk’s loyal fans. My source adds that Brooke isn’t looking to speak ill of her dead father, but she is looking to set the record straight on so many things – including the reason she opted to not be included in his will. She already has a publisher in place!
Even though he’s still behind bars, Diddy made headlines when his lawyer, Marc Agniflio did an interview with CBS Mornings and revealed Diddy’s plans to perform on stage once he’s released from jail. Diddy might have some trouble however, securing an opening act. Even though he’s boasting that he will perform in NY’s Madison Square Garden, we are hearing that he’s already reached out to many pals in the biz to see if they’d be interested in sharing the stage with him, and so far the reception has been cool. Long story short, even when he’s released, odds are Diddy will be considered damaged goods, and will likely have a tough time finding someone willing to be seen with him.
Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline made the news when it was revealed he’s writing a tell-all. (most likely with the help of a ghost writer as we’ve never known him to be prolific) We can tell you this. Britney knew about Kevin’s plans, and her lawyers have reminded Kevin of the NDA he signed as part of their divorce – so we can all but guarantee the book will be thoroughly vetted by Brit’s legal team before its October release.
Sydney Sweeney was talked about this week with her provocative American Eagle ad, and then days later when it was revealed she’s a registered Republican. We just heard that Sydney was invited to visit the White House by Donald Trump but her Hollywood team of advisors is urging her to politely turn down the invitation for the sake of her career. Back in 2023, Sydney had to issue a statement after photos at her mom’s birthday party revealed some guests wearing MAGA hats. She brushed off the hats as a joke but now her advisors are warning her that chumming up to Trump won’t win her any fans in the movie business, and will likely alienate much of her fan base.
Kelly Clarkson made headlines when she postponed her Las Vegas residency yet again, revealing that it was because her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock was ill with an unspecified illness. The very next day Brandon passed away, and while we have known about this for awhile, we chose not to write about it. We can tell you this – Kelly is having serious thoughts about continuing her talk show and is considering becoming a full time stay at home mom. She plans to continue her residency in Las Vegas once the dust has settled from Brandon’s passing, but for now her career is on a self- imposed indefinite hiatus as she focuses on her children.
Blast from the past, former TV Superman star Dean Cain was in the headlines when he announced he was joining ICE. Although some thought this was a publicity stunt to stay relevant, we heard this. Dean IS actually joining ICE, but he’s doing so as a stepping stone. He’s planning to enter politics and is trying hard to boost up his MAGA resumes to appeal to far right voters.
