Luigi Mangione was in the news when the online retailer, SHEIN used an AI generated model who looked EXACTLY like him to hawk a men’s shirt.  Although the company received some flak for the publicity stunt, the shirt SOLD OUT in minutes.  We heard through a fashion source that SHEIN was originally planning to feature Luigi’s image on numerous products on their website and tested the water with the first photo.  For now the idea has been scrapped, but don’t be too surprised if they use another controversial character in the future.

The White Lotus was back in the news when it was leaked that season 4 will take place in France and here’s what we know.  Creator Mike White is hoping to up his game and land Academy Award winning actress, Juliette Binoche,  as one of the leads.  Mike is determined to land a French actress to play the hotel’s general manager since much of that dialog will be in French.  When season 2 shot in Sicily,  Mike stacked the cast with Italian speaking actors so this should come as no surprise.

Sad news this week with the passing of 91-year-old designer  Giorgio Armani, whose career skyrocketed when he dressed Richard Gere in American Gigolo.  We can tell you this.  Although the theme has yet to be officially announced,  next year’s Met Gala is quickly being retooled to  honor Giorgio and his illustrious career.  From what we hear, the theme will be From Italy With Love with a showcase on Italian designers and of course Giorgio is on the top of that list.

Denise Richards made the news as her divorce from Aaron Phypers seemingly gets uglier by the day.  We know this.  Aaron is gearing up to subpoena Denise’s ex-husband, Charlie Sheen, and my source says the paperwork has already been drawn up,  although not yet served.  From the looks of things, this split is going to go down as one of the nastiest in recent Hollywood history.

Kris Jenner made headlines for insisting her relationship with Corey Gamble is still going strong despite reports that they were headed for splitsville.  While we too have heard there’s trouble in paradise we also just heard that the couple entered intense relationship counseling and they meet with a therapist three times per week at Kris’ Hidden Hills, California home.  It seems to be working for now,  as they ARE getting along, but my source still predicts these two will eventually separate.

Taylor Swift made the news when the commissioner of the NFL announced she basically had an open invitation if she wanted to ever perform at the Super Bowl during halftime.  We know this.  Taylor has already been in talks with the NFL about starring in the halftime show in 2026, but a deal has yet to be worked out – and here’s why.  The performers don’t get paid (although some of their expenses are covered) for doing the show as it’s considered an honor, and while Taylor certainly doesn’t need the money, she wants the league to make a generous donation to one of her preferred charities.  If that can be ironed out,  she will be the headliner and the ratings will be HUGE.

This makes sense.  Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun made some headlines when it was revealed (leaked) that they were dating.  My source says this is a well orchestrated publicity stunt to accomplish a few things:  change the narrative that Sydney is a republican, ( that’s not a popular stance in Hollywood) take the focus off the fact that her last movie, Americana, FLOPPED,  and finally launch her much desired music career.  Don’t believe for one second that the paparazzi just happened to catch Sydney and Scooter on a date.  They have been hanging out however, as he helps her navigate her into the world of pop music.
