Damian Hurley posted this photo of himself in Madrid, and like our recent post on Sydney Sweeney, we think he wants desperately to be noticed and he’s trying WAAAY to hard to be sexy. The 23 year old actor/model son of Steve Bing and Elizabeth Hurley was born lucky – he bears a striking resemblance to his attractive mother, but he shows off his glamour-boy looks a bit too much. (Does his shape look a bit odd to you?)
Although it was a ratings success, the last season of White Lotus was not a critical success, walking away without any Emmys at the recent awards ceremony. Creator Mike White is desperate to shake things up and is working overtime to cast another fan favorite character like Jennifer Coolidge (who starred in seasons 1 and 2) in the upcoming season 4, which takes place in Paris. Although he hasn’t decided on anyone yet for next season, he is confiding to pals that he regrets killing off Jennifer’s character, Tanya McQuoid, and his next successful casting choice will become a recurring character at least for a few seasons. His Kansas City Chiefs are off to a poor start this football season ( they’re 0 for 2) but regardless of how good or bad their season is, Travis Kelce is confiding to pals that unless something drastically changes, this will be his LAST year playing professional football, since he’s planning to focus on becoming a movie star. In his limited downtime, Travis has been secretly working with a different kind of coach – a prominent ACTING coach- and since he’s already represented by top Hollywood agency, CAA, he’s confident he’s more than ready for his closeup. My source says that Travis’ fiancee, Taylor Swift is onboard for his career change since acting is less dangerous than football. We found this photo of Travis from a few years ago without so much facial hair, and he looks big-screen ready…
One of the BIGGEST stories of the week, (and it’s only going to get bigger) was Jimmy Kimmel Live! being put on an indefinite hiatus from ABC – over what was deemed as an inappropriate joke about that slain conservative influencer. So many of today’s recaps will involve this development since it’s a HUGE story in Hollywood and has everyone talking. Here’s what we know. Hours after the hiatus was announced, Jimmy, his legal team and the network’s suits, started discussing a possible resolution. The network wants Jimmy to publicly apologize and lay off the jokes at the expense of thin skinned conservatives. Thus far, Jimmy is refusing to give in to censorship. As of today the talks continue… We really hope Jimmy comes back on his own terms – he happens to be one of the nicest guys in Hollywood.
We also know this. During the last Hollywood strike, Jimmy opened his checkbook and paid much of his staff during the downtime and once again he’s planning to do the same during this hiatus. No one knows how long this hiatus will go on, or if the show will even come back or be cancelled. It’s all happening in real time so things could quickly have changed by the time you read this. Nonetheless, Jimmy knows the hiatus not only affects him, but has a more devastating financial impact on much of his staff, especially those in more entry level positions, so he’s planning to pay them at least until they can collect unemployment, if it comes to that.
And here’s another thing we just heard. If the show doesn’t come back, Jimmy is pivoting to a podcast which seems to be the direction Hollywood, the entertainment industry, and the world is heading. As my network source reveals, TV is pretty much dead, and streaming podcasts are now where the money is at. Jimmy and his team are well aware if he’s given a severance package he might have to agree to a no compete clause for a period of time, but one way or another his plan is to host a podcast where he won’t have to deal with censorship. It’s happening – and he’s already transforming a room in his Los Angeles home into a recording studio.
Finally, our last recap on this story. While Donald Trump is already gloating about the situation (remember he called for Jimmy to get cancelled two months ago) much of Hollywood is rallying around Jimmy and planning to protest Trump, censorship, and what many say is the start of fascism. We can tell you this. A star studded protest is already in the works and while the details are very sketchy, ( it’s barely been 24 hours since the hiatus was announced) a few variations of protests are being discussed and they include some of Hollywood’s biggest names. My source adds that some details of the protest should be announced within the week – but it’s going to be a large scaled well orchestrated event.
The Emmys were the other big story of the week, and we can tell you one of the first people to congratulate Best Actor in a Drama winner, The Pitt star, Noah Wylie, was his former ER costar George Clooney. Although George wasn’t in Hollywood for the award show, a few days later he sent Noah a Buccellati ( a very high-end Italian jeweler) sterling silver frame with a photo of them from 1994 the year ER premiered. In addition to the fancy frame, George included an invitation inviting Noah to spend some time with him at his villa on Lake Como. My source says that the two, while always friendly, grew apart once George left ER and now George is hoping to reconnect.
Their show Hacks didn’t win Best Comedy but its stars, Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder both won for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress in a comedy series. On the red carpet it was revealed that the upcoming season 5 will be the show ‘s last. We can tell you this. The season will be filled with major guest stars, including Kelsey Grammer, who Jean costarred with on Frazier (she was a recurring guest star playing his girlfriend). As we previously reported, Jean is also hoping to share the screen with her surviving Designing Women costars, and Hannah’s real life mother, SNL original cast member, Laraine Newman (!) is also set to appear.
Here’s something we know and you probably don’t yet. We would usually write this as a separate item but decided to include it in our weekly recap since it’s gossipy and much needed happy news. A well placed source reveals that Rihanna gave birth to her third child last week! The singer has a history of keeping her pregnancies and children’s births as private as possible for as long as possible. While our source is vague on the details, we can tell you that Rihanna and her team have been buying tons of PINK baby clothes and she recently bowed out of a planned business meeting at the last minute and has been MIA from other scheduled appointments. Plus, someone from her inner circle was spotted delivering a huge pink teddy bear to her Beverly Hills home. Again, we know the details are sparse, but don’t be surprised if all of this is soon revealed!
He’s relatively young and enjoying his newfound fame, but before he became a household name, our guy sowed MANY wild oats, and now his past is coming back to haunt him. Although he’s never publicly discussed his sexuality, he has experimented with bisexuality – dating men and women. Less than 10 years ago, he went through a particularly wild phase and one of his male partners captured him in a very compromising position. We will keep it PG, but let’s just say he was filmed at a bathhouse having anonymous sex with numerous men. Uh-oh – the ex-partner suddenly resurfaced and hinted that he still has that video. Although the ex didn’t ask for any money, our guy thinks that’s what’s on the horizon, so he’s decided to keep things friendly. He’s been hanging out with his ex, in hopes that his former partner will delete the video without asking for a payday.

Despite brief moments of intense fame back in the day, our guy has always been stuck on the B or C list. He has a famous last name, but was usually more known for his romances than his career. When it rains it pours – money is tight since he hasn’t he worked in quite awhile, and he recently got diagnosed with a devastating illness. Nonetheless his famous and well-to-do family isn’t helping him out financially, and he was recently evicted. He was couch surfing while trying to deal with being sick and uninsured, until one of his wealthy fellow celebrity buddies stepped to the plate. His celebrity friend is now picking up the tab for the best medical care as well as a comfortable apartment.

Our gal is still carrying a torch for her former boyfriend. In HER mind the romance was the real deal, but in his, it was just more of an extended fling. She put on a brave face when things suddenly ended, but time doesn’t heal all wounds. Her former lover recently went public in a very big way with someone younger than she is – and now she’s out for REVENGE. Her first hit – she deliberately went an a few dates with someone he used to be quite close with, and she made sure he knew about it. But that was only the start. She’s now going around town telling people in the industry that her former beau is unstable and abuses drugs. Word got back to our guy and he quickly sent his attorney after his ex, threatening to get a restraining order unless she stop talking negatively about him.

Will Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole cash in and write a tell-all on her 5-year romance with the man now engaged to Taylor Swift? According to my source in the publishing world, Kayla, a sports journalist and model, (above) is being bombarded with lucrative offers to dish the dirt on what it was like dating Travis. For now though, Kayla has turned them all down, confiding to a friend, that she currently has no interest in rehashing that chapter of her life – even for a million dollars!
Once again, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander – and that just might explain why, after 26-years of marriage, David and Victoria Beckham are renewing their wedding vows for the first time. Back in August, their estranged son, Brooklyn, renewed his vows with his wife Nicola, but David and Victoria were NOT invited. According to my source, the Beckhams are planning a star-studded event like no other to celebrate their love affair, and it should come as no surprise that unless they somehow make peace, Brooklyn and Nicola are NOT on the guest list.
Of course Sydney Sweeney turned up dressed to kill at The Emmys– she’s been photographed at just about every Hollywood oriented event for the past year looking camera ready and she got tons of publicity. We happen to think this absurdly low cut red dress is more suited to Jayne Mansfield or Cardi B than an accomplished actress. Ambitious Sydney has been pushing VERY hard to get our attention – she was hoping her latest film Americana would help establish her as a singer-actress like Jennifer Lopez. Unfortunately the film was not successful. Our advice: don’t give up on the singing, Sydney – but drop the bombshell image…
