Now that is has been announced that Hacks is ending after its upcoming fifth season, the suits at HBO MAX want to make sure they don’t have another, And Just Like That fiasco on their hands. The Sex and the City spinoff abruptly ended after three seasons and now episodes of both series aren’t streaming as well as the network hoped for. To ensure Hacks doesn’t suffer a similar fate, behind very closed doors executives met with the showrunners and explained to them their concerns. My well placed source reveals when Hacks does conclude, not only will it end in a high note, but it will also leave the door open for future seasons or at least a follow up movie.
