The NFL has a problem,  and that problem is Jay-Z.  The football league signed an 8-year contract with Jay-Z and his company Roc Nation to produce the Super Bowl halftime show.  Kendrick Lamar had the honors last year, and the powers that be at the NFL weren’t exactly thrilled with his performance.  It was interpreted by some to imply that league members were slave owners and the players were the slaves.  This year they were hoping to land someone less controversial,  (like we reported –Taylor Swift) but when a deal couldn’t be struck, Jay-Z went with Bad Bunny – and therein lies the problem.  The league isn’t thrilled about an all in Spanish performance, but their contract with Jay-Z gives him full control.  Behind very closed doors they’re looking for an escape clause since they regret handing over so much power to Jay-Z without the ability to veto any performers.
