MELANIA TRUMP: NO ONE WANTS TO DRESS HER?

We can’t help but wonder if those designers who haughtily announced they are NOT interested in dressing First Lady Melania Trump, are having second thoughts. Tom Ford led the pack and was followed by the likes of Zac Posen, Derek Lam, Marc Jacobs etc. Should they punish Melania for her husband’s politics? She is probably the most photogenic First Lady in the world and will be constantly under scrutiny. Will these hard-nose designers soften up or are they afraid to appear to be Trump supporters? An interesting dilemma.

WATCH OUT- LAMAR ODOM IS LOOKIN’ FOR NEW LOVE!

Lamar Odom, 37, is officially back in action. In December he spent 30 days in rehab reinforcing his recovery. Now he’s working on a reality show about his new and somewhat tentative life. He’s hired a new blonde assistant that some observers compare to his ex Khloe Kardashian. He met some friends for lunch in Sherman Oaks, and couldn’t resist ogling the passing females.

LEAH REMINI HAS THE LAST LAUGH ON SCIENTOLOGY!

Who knew the world was SO fascinated by Scientology stories? (It’s a GOOD thing.) Leah Remini’s Scientology-expose series has been picked up by A&E for another, longer season – ten hour-long episodes. It seems there is no shortage of former Scientology members who want to talk their horrendous experiences while affiliated with the so-called church. And viewers eat it up! The network had responses from people around the world praising the show. Scientology leader David Miscavige must be apoplectic – he always attempts to derail any negative publicity about his organization. (Indeed, he has set up a website dedicated to denigrating Leah.) Things are looking grim for Scientology and we have Leah to thank! Wheee! Scientology is one step closer to paying taxes…

FORGET THE SPICE GIRLS, VICTORIA BECKHAM IS A DESIGNER!

Victoria Beckham is no longer a former Spice Girl dabbling in design – she’s a full- fledged DESIGNER! When she started her clothing business, Victoria’s creations were all sexy, skin tight, and uncomfortable. They were aimed at club girls with loads of money and movie stars on red carpets. Ho-hum. We were impressed with her BIG PANTS recently and now she’s taken it a step further with her BIG SUIT. We LOVE this (80’s inspired?) oversized khaki suit – it’s something a woman with a job could wear and look special. We still get a kick out of the fact that Victoria wears the tallest platform shoes and her companions wear sneakers…

BEN AFFLECK: LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING

On paper, Ben Affleck looks like a great catch. He’s tall, dark, handsome, and smart, and has a successful career as an award-winning actor and director. Certainly he has attracted his share of equally attractive and successful women. But all is not as it appears. Ben has had a drinking problem for quite awhile that called for several visits to rehab. At times he can be surly and moody. What’s more, Ben is addicted to gambling in excess and has never totally been able to give THAT up, despite financial repercussions. Jennifer Garner has endured all of his addictions and we have to give her credit for never complaining. And she is trying to make the most of their co-parenting. Ben did ONE thing right – he married Jennifer. (Above, Ben, looking a bit puffy, took Seraphina to karate class.)

THINGS ARE FALLING INTO PLACE FOR PARIS JACKSON

Paris Jackson took a day off from her new and glamorous life to walk around Venice, California looking like just another hippie. She returned from Fashion Week in Paris to film a guest role on Lee Daniels’ series STAR. Paris is not altogether happy with an interview she did with Candace Bushnell for Harper’s Bazaar. The magazine comes out this week and apparently they mentioned her father’s name in the headline after promising not to. Hey, that’s showbiz! Now that Paris is signed with IGM for modeling, WME for acting, and got herself a good looking manager – anything can happen!

MIAMI INK IS MORE THAN A REALITY SHOW – HE’S BEST IN SHOW!

This adorable pooch won Best in Show at the Crufts 2017 in the UK which happens to be the worlds largest dog show. Miami Ink (named after the reality show?) is an American Cocker Spaniel and his win got a lot of fans riled up and complaining loudly. Miami Ink won the Working Dog competition and dog people griped that he was “not a working gun dog – he’s a fancy pompous thing!” Indeed, little Miami Ink does NOT look like he’s ever been hunting, but he IS a looker…

WATCH OUT PRINCE PHILIP, TOM CRUISE IS UP TO SOMETHING!

Tom Cruise charmed the upper-crust crowd when he turned up unannounced at an Outward Bound charity event at Buckingham Palace. (The charitable organization encourages young people to have confidence in everyday life.) As you may know, Tom has a home in the UK he’s selling and plans to move into L Ron Hubbard’s CASTLE, which is being renovated for him there. Tom, 54, turned on the charm and engaged the Prince, 95, in what was described as an animated conversation. Tom has big plans for Scientology in the UK- his daughter Isabella is also expected to play a large part in the expanding church there. Keep in mind that weaseling its way into charities is one method Scientology uses to build up good will in a community. All we can say is WATCH OUT!

MARIAH CAREY AND NICK CANNON DRESSED UP LIKE THEIR KIDS

Mariah Carey’s idea of a mother-daughter dress up outfit is pretty amusing. It looks like she and her little girl Monroe are wearing the same athletic shirt/dress with considerably different results. (We wonder if Monroe will grow up aping her mother’s hyper-sexy style or rebel and wear grunge!) Daddy Nick Cannon and son Moroccan look cute in their father and son orange sport outfits. Nick and Mariah brought their twins to the Kids Choice Awards. Mariah’s hairdresser, featured on her reality show, was arrested for smuggling lots of drugs – makes you wonder….
