Kate Hudson is not about to let fear of coronavirus stop her from getting her exercise. She took advantage of a break in the bad weather to take her family for a bike ride. Kate HAS to look good – she’s the face (and body) and her successful athleisure collection Fabletics, so she’s highly motivated.

AT LEAST AMBER HEARD SCORED FLOWERS AT THE MARKET

Amber Heard and her father David went grocery shopping at Gelsons in Los Feliz but they probably didn’t find much to buy. (We were there two days ago and the shelves were ransacked with very little left. We were happy to stock up on frozen dinners.) Amber’s father works in the construction business and as a part-time actor. A lot of actors are out of work now with most productions canceled, so you never know who will be competing with you for that last package of toilet paper!

ROD STEWART: MAYBE NOT FOREVER YOUNG, BUT REASONABLY SAFE

Rod Stewart has no intention of letting fear of coronavirus keep him housebound. But he realizes he IS the oldest person in his family, so he’s not taking chances – he wore white gloves this morning when they all went out to breakfast in Bel Air. Rod had knee replacement only a few months ago and he’s already performing, but the virus caused Caesar’s Palace to cancel his shows next weekend – they will be rescheduled.

JAMIE FOXX SETS A GOOD EXAMPLE

Jamie Foxx is smart and he has no fear of eating Chinese food. However, unlike the rest of us, when he gets a craving for chow mein or Peking duck or wonton soup, he picks up an order at the elegant Mr Chow in Beverly Hills.

KIEFER SUTHERLAND HAS A FEAR OF BEING IDLE

The first thing we noticed about this photo of Kiefer Sutherland at LAX is the suitcase in his hand – it’s a bit of a relic – heavy leather and no wheels. The beat-up cowboy boots are a clue to where he’s going. Kiefer is spending every minute he’s not acting singing country western music with his band. Coronavirus notwithstanding, he’s on his way to Zurich where he’s performing for a week starting Friday night. We imagine that whiskey and cigarettes cough of his might alarm a few people on his fight.

LUKA SABBAT IS ALWAYS AWARE OF THE CAMERAS

Looks like Luka Sabbat, 22, and his on–again off-again girlfriend are on-again. The Grown-ish actor met Costa Rican model Adriana Mora back in 2016 at a Prada runway show. He models too, and they went on to appear as a runway couple for Dolce & Gabbana and Hugo Boss. The pair take an occasional break – remember when Luka was hanging out with 18 years older Kourtney Kardashian? Actually he loves the publicity – Luka started out as an internet influencer, and that’s how he ignited his career. Too bad he smokes…

TOM HANKS AND RITA WILSON ARE THE MOST FAMOUS CORONAVIRUS VICTIMS – AND THEY ARE CALM

Somehow it’s comforting to hear that Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson tested positive for coronavirus. They are being totally open about the situation and plan to reveal everything as it happens. Tom described his and Rita’s symptoms so far, and they weren’t alarming. They are in Australia where he was preparing to play Colonel Tom Parker in a movie about Elvis Presley. Tom says he expects to be tested and isolated for as long as necessary and is “taking it one day at a time.” We look forward to his diary of events…

CASEY AFFLECK TRIES TO BE A DECENT FATHER

There’s something fascinating about celebrities shopping in supermarkets – in fact, one of the fun advantages of living in LA is the possibility of running into a movie star while grocery shopping. Luke Perry once absentmindedly tossed his apples in my shopping cart at Ralph’s. Casey Affleck keeps his two sons far from Hollywood events but he does shop with them. It’s amazing that a photographer noticed Casey and his long-haired son Indiana, 16, because his beard makes him look like every other guy. (The Oscar winner has been somewhat undercover since he was accused of sexual harassment) The Afflecks were shopping at Gelson’s – the same store Brad Pitt and Dita Von Teese frequent.

DOES CHARLIE SHEEN EVEN REMEMBER THOSE DARK DAYS?

Can’t say we’re shocked by Corey Feldman’s accusation that Charlie Sheen took advantage of 13 year old Corey Haim in 1986 when they filmed the movie Lucas. Charlie Sheen’s drug abuse through the years is well documented and he was also known to hire male as well as female prostitutes. And Corey Haim was a very cute boy – like a young Justin Bieber. Haim’s life turned really tragic and his mother tried desperately to save him. The last time we saw Haim he was outside a celebrity autograph show and was offering paparazzi a private photo session with him in their hotel room for fifty dollars.
