PATRICK SCHWARZENEGGER BICYCLES THE HARD WAY

File this under “creative ways of working out during a pandemic.” Since gyms closed, we’ve seen a LOT of celebrities out walking and riding bikes that we’ve NEVER seen exercising in public before. They have to find new ways of working muscles accustomed to gym equipment. Patrick Schwarzenegger has expert tips from his father Arnold, and today he was riding a stand-up bicycle that we never knew existed. A whole different challenge for leg muscles and balance. Hopefully he will avoid heavy traffic…

LYNDA CARTER MADE THE MOST OF ISOLATION

Hard to believe that TV’s Wonder Woman Lynda Carter is now 68 years old, but she looks great and now has a career as a singer, entertaining in clubs across the country. She was planning to tour this year with her daughter Jessica, 29, who’s also a singer, but coronavirus scuttled their plans. They ended up socially isolating together and Lynda wants everyone to know that she has loved spending so much unexpected time with Jessica…

KELLY AND AIMEE OSBOURNE ARE HAPPY TO BE OUT AGAIN

It’s evident that coronavirus is NOT going to put the celebrity laden restaurant Craig’s out of business. This week they have been star studded every night. Kelly Osbourne, 35, and her family celebrated breaking isolation there. She arrived with her sister Aimee, 36, (she’s the one who did not appear on The Osbournes reality show – didn’t want to be famous!) Poor Aimee had to have emergency surgery on her appendix on March 31 – a risky time to be in the hospital – but she’s fine now. Everyone dining at Craig’s DOES have their temperature taken before they enter.

BRADLEY COOPER WON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE TWICE

New Yorkers are feeling more confident about going out again and Bradley Cooper couldn’t wait to spend time outside with his 3 year old daughter Lea. Cooper and Lea’s mother, model Irina Shayk, split a year ago and he admits much of the fault was his. He was rarely home – spending month after month working on A Star is Born– preparing, directing and acting. Irina couldn’t work – she was home caring for Lea. Since they split, they have worked out a balanced schedule where one of them is always available to be with Lea. Their co-parenting is more successful than their romance.

ANOTHER REASON TO LOVE LENNY KRAVITZ

Here’s a man who makes sense – For YEARS Lenny Kravitz has been brave enough to admit that he thinks women could do a far better job of running the world than men. Five years ago he talked to Image magazine about women in his life – mother, grandmother, aunt, and various exes. He says women are more sensible, have better intuition, and are stronger – they get the job done that needs to be done. And he’s GRATEFUL to have had such positive feminine influence in his upbringing. We totally agree that more women in office will solve LOT of problems…

SINGLE MOM LAURA DERN PROTESTS WITH HER SON

Laura Dern’s cute son Ellery, 18, just graduated from high school a few weeks ago with a home celebration. Ellery’s father is Laura’s ex-husband, musician Ben Harper, and he inherited his father’s good looks. Ellery and his mom were seen marching in more than one Black Lives Matter demonstration this past week. Last year Ellery walked the runway as a first time model at New York Fashion Week, but we hope he has college in his future.

JENNIFER LOPEZ AND ALEX RODRIGUEZ PROTEST IN PERSON

Not a lot of celebrities are showing up to protest for Black Lives Matter demonstrations – most of the ones that do are quite young and in a festive mood. But Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez turned up to march with the group on Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles. Certainly that tall guy behind Jennifer is a bodyguard, and you can bet there’s more than one keeping a close eye on the pair. The paparazzi that spotted them is to be congratulated (we wouldn’t have recognized them) – we don’t know if they WANTED to be noticed or not, but their gesture is meaningful.

SHARON STONE IS READY FOR ANYTHING

Sharon Stone is not wasting time while she’s been social isolating with her two youngest sons in Beverly Hills. Sharon has been writing a book about her life called The Beauty of Living Twice – most likely the title reflects her almost dying of a stroke in 2001- she’s expects it to be published next year. She’s also been giving online advice to people frightened by the riots happening close to her. She advised everyone to find a “panic room” (preferably a bathroom) they can prepare and bolt if someone breaks into their house. We’re betting she has a rather fancy one herself.

CRUTCHES DON’T STOP MADONNA FROM PROTESTING

Imagine everyone’s surprise when Madonna joined a Black Lives Matter protest in London, and she was ON CRUTCHES. (She’s been having knee and other problems since October) It wasn’t too rowdy – she had a couple of bodyguards, her kids, and her boyfriend marching by her side. Madonna shouted “NO JUSTICE – NO PEACE” as she hobbled along. Interesting that Madonna claims she “has antibodies” and doesn’t need a mask…

A JOKE FOR BEN AFFLECK?

Here’s a puzzle: This cute cardboard cut-out of Ana de Armas was furtively placed in front of Ben Affleck’s Brentwood house by one of his daughters, who ran home giggling afterward. Ben’s daughters seem quite fond of Ana and spend considerable time with her and their dad, so it’s NOT a negative gesture and it’s not Ana’s birthday. Certainly it was a fun surprise for Ben.
