Little did Kaley Cuoco suspect when she posted a video of herself working out with a mask, that she’d be met by a firestorm of criticism! The Big Bang Theory star innocently captioned her Instagram video “My newest obsession: 20 minutes, a jump rope, and good music” She appears to be jumping in a hotel or private gym. She was immediately bombarded with criticism and sarcasm – people told her working out with a mask was bad for her health (it’s NOT) that she was setting a bad example for kids, etc! She was shocked, but calmly responded “I wear a mask when I’m in an enclosed space around others, and when I’m outside around others – I’m protecting myself and everyone around me.”

Catfish creator Nev Schulman had some nice publicity when he was in Colorado recently. A pregnant waitress at a Smashburger in the Denver airport reported to Denver 7 News that Nev was her customer recently, and he left her a $926 tip on a $61.29 tab! She explained that they struck up a conversation and she told Nev that times were tough for her, but her baby was due Sept 26- and that happened to be Nev’s birthday. When Schulman left, he wrote “Congrats on your baby girl!” on the check, along with the surprising tip. The server was flabbergasted.

It’s been awhile since we came across Hung star Thomas Jane, but he’s always been a pretty fascinating character. Right now he’s at the Venice Film Festival promoting his new movie Run Hide Fight about a violent school shooting. Jane’s last film, The Vanished, in which he costarred with Anne Heche, is now in some theaters and On Demand. Anne (currently rehearsing for Dancing with the Stars) and Thomas admit they “fell in love” while playing man and wife in that movie, and are now a couple! And they have a lot in common – remember Thomas was rumored to have done a little male hustling on Santa Monica Blvd when he was 18, and Anne used to be Ellen Degeneres’ girlfriend! Mask in hand, Mickey Rourke is in Greece where he took time off to visit the Acropolis while finishing up his new movie there. We’re guessing the Mickey has been itching to work because this movie does not sound like his cup of tea (that would be The Wrestler.) Of all things, Man of God is a religious drama about the trials and tribulations of the most popular saint of the Orthodox church, who suffered mightily during the 19th century. Mickey does not play the saint, his role is described as “paralyzed man.”
