Yoko Ono

Interesting how the Rolling Stones compared Mick Jagger’s girlfriend L’Wren Scott to Yoko Ono. According to Page Six, when they saw her, they whispered “Here comes Yoko!” By all accounts L’Wren, who hanged herself a few days before her business was set to close, had a lot be upset about. Mick had helped her establish the business. In their 12 years together, she had traveled on tour with Mick many times before but was not invited on this current tour. She offered to design clothes for the whole band but the rest of the guys said “No thanks” and she only designed Mick’s wardrobe. By all accounts, L’Wren did have a powerful and persuasive personality that might seem controlling – hence the comparison to Yoko. Certainly the band is sympathetic to Mick, because they postponed the Australian tour.
