FISTS FLY BETWEEN ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER AND SYLVESTER STALLONE

The trailer for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone’s movie “Escape Plan” features the two aging action heroes in a knock-down drag-out fight. It’s something they’ve probably both been waiting to do for decades. These guys were once extremely competitive. Stallone found success first and he had the nerve to offer upcoming Arnold a small part in one of his movies playing his mentally challenged brother. Arnold was irritated and at the peak of his popularity would occasionally joke about Stallone – he thought Sly had terrible taste in clothes. Don’t forget Arnold also had a fling with Sly’s wife Brigitte Nielsen before Sly met her. Sly seethed when he heard Arnold’s wisecracks and he got revenge by PAYING an author to write a scathing biography of Arnold which described his father as a Nazi. Eventually the two rivals called a truce aand now in their maturity, they’re buddies as you can see.

SYLVESTER STALLONE: THERE’S A LOT HAPPENING UNDER THOSE TIGHT SHIRTS

Sylvester Stallone, 66, has found another way to defy aging! He already uses all kinds of health supplements to remain youthful, but found that his skin continued to mature. He started getting tattoos a few years ago and loved they way the cover up varicose veins, scars, spots, and wrinkles, especially on his back and chest and arms. He visited the MD Tattoo Studio in Northridge on Sunday when the place is usually closed for a private tattoo session with the expert Mike DeVries. We had no idea his tattoos were so extensive. We find the combination of celebrity gossip and fashion impossible to resist so we are eagerly anticipating the release of the film “Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s.” This documentary traces the almost ninety year history of the most luxurious department store in perhaps the world. Many designers are interviewed and there are plenty of celebrity anecdotes. Had they interviewed us, we would have told the story about Sylvester Stallone shopping there. After gaining weight for a movie, he struggled in the dressing room there to find flattering clothes. After he left, a clerk found a waist cincher/ girdle that he had left behind! A discreet call was made, and Sly sent his wife in to pick up the undergarment. (Above, Barbra Streisand filmed a segment for her 1965 TV special there, wearing fur knickers!) It opens May 3.

“ESCAPE PLAN” – ARNOLD AND SLY ARE DYING TO BREAK OUT OF PRISON TOGETHER

Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger teamed up again for “Escape Plan” which is set to be released in September. It’s the story of a structural engineer (Stallone) who is wrongly convicted of a crime and sent to a high tech escape-proof prison of his own design. Once locked up, he plots the impossible escape with a fellow prisoner played by Schwarzenegger, and another who is a computer expert (50 Cent.) It all sounds like fun but isn’t it an odd coincidence to see two sixty-something guys in jail without a grey hair on their heads? Do they have hair salons in men’s prisons?

Sylvester Stallone is surrounded by women and his life couldn’t be better. Since he married former model Jennifer Flavin he dresses more appropriately and his two active daughters Sage and Sophia keep him on his toes. The only drawback is the fact that soon he will be the shortest person in the family.

TOUGH GUYS STALLONE, ARNOLD, AND STATHAM – TIME TO RETHINK YOUR CAREERS?

It’s no secret that we are NOT fond of action movies, so we were fascinated to see that Sylvester Stallone’s “Bullet to the Head” was a flop this weekend. Especially since Arnold Schwarzenegger’s “The Last Stand” and Jason Statham’s “Parker” also failed miserably at the box office recently. Is this a trend? We sure hope so. We have always lamented the beautiful cars that are routinely wrecked in such movies. Not to mention the gunfire, deafening explosions, and bloody deaths. But worst of all were the egos of the leading men engaged in these activities. Even vampires are preferable to those testosterone fueled “strong silent types.”

The Expendables 2 premier in Hollywood was loaded with celebrities but the irrepressible Jackie Stallone got as much attention as any of them. It’s nice to see that Sly and his astrologer mother are still close – she can be a handful. Believe it or not, Jackie is 90 years old and except for the inflated lips, she looks pretty darn good. It’s time for Sly to cut his mother’s plastic surgery allowance.

The Expendables 2 premiered in Paris and Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger both brought family members along to keep them company on the European tour. Arnold is still getting over his separation from Maria Shriver and Sly tragically lost his son Sage just last month. Arnold took his daughter Katherine shopping at Cartier and Sly and his daughters Sistine and Scarlet visited a few shops along with mom Jennifer.

SYLVESTER STALLONE IGNORED HIS SON SAGE FOR YEARS

We had a chat with a friend of the Stallone family who cleared up a few things about the death of Sly’s oldest son Sage. Sage’s autistic brother Seargeoh, 32, lives with his mother Sasha. Apparently, family members feel Sly DID ignore his son after he married Jennifer Flavin and started a new family. And Jennifer did not encourage Sly to stay in contact with his “old family.” Sage rarely saw his father and unfortunately Sage called Sly on his birthday July 6, and left a message saying he’d like to get together, but Sly didn’t call back, according to our source. Sage’s mother Sacha paid for all the funeral expenses (the funeral is at Forest Lawn on Saturday) but Sly may or may not have chipped in some money later. The Stallone family is not a happy one. Sly has banned his mother Jackie and half sister Toniann (who has lung cancer) from the ceremony.

Blame Death Sage Stallone Sylvester Stallone

SAGE STALLONE’S COUSIN SAYS HE WAS CUT OFF FROM FAMILY

Sage Stallone’s cousin is blaming Sylvester Stallone for his 36 year old son’s death. According to The Daily News, Edd Filiti, 18, commented on Facebook (now removed) about the tragic death and blamed Stallone and his wife Jennifer for shutting Sage out of Sly’s life. He implied that Sly only cared about his “new” family and forgot about his earlier family. Filiti is the son of Stallone’s half sister Toni Ann, with whom Sly has been on bad terms for awhile. Certainly there is some family animosity here, but there may be more than a grain of truth. We haven’t found a photograph of Sly and Sage together since 1996. Sly even released a picture of him and his son to TMZ and THAT was from 1991, taken by Bruce Weber, and very flattering to Sly, except for the cigar.

UPDATE: Sage’s heartbroken mother Sasha Czack told The Post that Sage had five teeth pulled weeks before his death and was likely taking painkillers. She said she warned him about having all the teeth pulled at once, but he went ahead. It looks like his TEETH were neglected also…
