BRACE YOURSELF FOR THE KARDASHIAN MUSEUM

When it comes to great museums, there’s The Met, The Guggenheim, The Getty, and if they get their way – possibly The Kardashian.  Yes, the family that does it all, now wants to expand their brand with their own interactive museum! The space will be filled with family history and personal artifacts from wedding dresses to never before seen photos.  Matriarch Kris Jenner wants to create a totally immersive experience, like this one that started it all:  https://www.vangoghla.com/.
Her plan is already in action – she’s been quietly touring available spaces in the Los Angeles area, including a former adult theater!

BEN AFFLECK: MAKING UP FOR LOST TIME

Ben Affleck appeared to be the perfect son and father today. He took his mother and his three kids, Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9, out for an educational afternoon. The family went to the California Science Center museum in LA. It was probably most interesting to Samuel- right now the museum is featuring an impressive display of LEGO art which includes hundreds of sculptures of full size animals and recreated art like the Mona Lisa. It’s nice to take a day off from J.Lo and spend quality time with the kids…

BRAD AND ANGELINA’S DAY AT THE MUSEUM

Brad and Angelina’s kids are just oozing personality and now four year old Knox has morphed into a black clad little hipster version of his daddy. Twins Knox and Vivienne spent Valentine’s Day with their doting parents learning about evolution at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles. Vivienne, who recently played a part in Angelina’s movie “Maleficent,” wore a leopard coat over her black outfit. The kids were particularly interested in the spectacular dinosaur exhibition and each left with a toy animal from the gift shop.

IT’S HARD TO IMAGINE LIFE WITHOUT THE LIBERACE MUSEUM

Judging by the number of emails we’ve received on the subject, a LOT of people are mourning the closing of the Liberace Museum in Las Vegas this week. He WAS an iconic Las Vegas entertainer – as our mothers and aunts will attest to. When the museum opened in 1979, loaded with Liberace’s extravagant costumes and sets and pianos, 450,000 people a year toured the place. Last year attendance was down to 50,000 and the people handling Liberace’s estate decided to lock the doors. The last sequin has been swept up. The Liberace collection MIGHT go on tour and hopefully will return to Las Vegas and reopen at a location closer to the strip. (The old strip mall was five miles away.) With Michael Douglas’s health in jeopardy, we don’t know if his Liberace movie with Matt Damon will ever happen. Don’t you love the photo of Liberace with Elvis?
